Since we know transmog will not be in Classic, even though it was something that was asked for in several different ways, I have a request. Can we have hide shoulders, just like hide helm and cape. I can live with having most of my gear mismatched but shoulders are the worst.

The only way you’ll be able to hide shoulders is to remove them. It will make it all the more satisfying when you finally do get badarse looking shoulders, I think. That is part of the fun on vanilla wow, delayed gratification.
Remember when Shoulders were given a PvP rating requirement because they were considered to be especially prestigious, visually?
You cannot hide the shame of your inferior shoulders. You must get better shoulders.

Mantle of Abrahmis- tanking shoulders from Netherspite in Karazhan. The original graphic of those things… the struggle was real (you had to wear them because they were such good tanking shoulders).
I love being able to size up someone’s gear level at a glance. If you’re gonna fight someone it helps a lot to know what kind of strategy you’ll need.

This suggestion is bad. Pro changers realize this isn’t a bargain right? Blizzard already said this stuff won’t be in.
Actually, I want to see the Vanilla code for Hide Helmet put back into Current.

Well, we agree on something. Blizzard has added in pretty much Hide Everything now but we can’t hide our helmets. It’s staggerly stupid.
Well, we can hide them, it’s just a cumbersome process and costs money if we want to show them. Which is annoying.
It was fine to add it to the transmog UI, but have it flip the “Hide” switch rather than just transmog it to invisible.
And unneeded to add the process to the transmog NPC rather than keeping it in the interface options.
I would personally rather blizzard simply tone down the designs such that it doesn’t appear as a junkyard riding around on out shoulders. Some of the dumbest looking art in the game are shoulder pieces. Only got SLIGHTLY better in wrath.
See, I like the crazy early shoulder designs. What I don’t like is how the shoulders fit on some of the races, looking like they float in the air rather than actually being equipped.
Don’t wear shoulders, problem solved.
