Itās a rough question to answer. My position has always been that ācharging an additional fee to current players would be a fantastic way to ensure that they never play Classic.ā
I didnāt have an āacceptableā price in mind, because I always expected them to give it to current subscribers as part of their ongoing subscription service.
Story time!
We had an MT who had a farmer outfit he liked to wear. Like all of us, he used a macro to equip the gear he liked to walk around in.
So, we pull a boss one day, and he gets one-shot immediately. As a healer, iur chat channels blows up. WTF just happened?!?!
Turns out, instead of pressing a tanking ability ( blood rage or whatever warrior thing), he pressed his RP clothes macro. We had a talk about macro positioning after that.
Short story long, thereās no need to transmit hide shoulders. If you donāt want to wear them, feel free to not wear them.

It is actually a very simple question to answer. But it sure sounds like anything more that $0 is a solid no to you.

I donāt have an acceptable price in mind because even saying āIād be willing to pay $20 a month to play modern and Classicā leaves a sour taste in my mouth. $15 is a high-but-reasonable price for a monthly subscription, but once it crosses to $20 it becomes harder to stomach.
I think the perfect middle-ground is to keep a recurring subscription at $15 and just lump both versions together. You buy one, you get the other free. Perfect.
RP set or town clothing or whatever. I favor some of the dresses available in Moonglade from a vendor for town apparel.
But clown suits for world content. Someone with a complete set earned it.

No, if you donāt like the look, donāt wear the item. Your visual appearance in Classic was a representation of the gear you had, that disappeared with Transmog. Thereās no hiding how powerful or weak your gear is in Classic, and a lot of people want it that way.
If you want to have a purely cosmetic alteration, stay in live version or just donāt wear the item.
I wishā¦ Iām a hunter and my shoulder armor is higher than my own head, also theyāre both dragon heads and look absolutely ridiculousā¦ if I could add any SINGLE change to Classic WoW it would be āHide Shoulderā optionā¦ the shoulders absolutely ruin the immersion for me because I canāt help but feel like in order to compete, I have to look stupid.
except the higher level the shoulders, the worse they look.
Those are tame compared to how ridiculous looking the shoulders for Classic Tier setsā¦ everyone one of them is so bad, I canāt imagine being the person designing them thinking, āpeople are going to think these are so cool!!!ā
