Seriously I really want this to get added in. I don’t always want to see some giant bauble in my off hand when using a one hander on a caster.
Can we get this as an Item or Option for transmog?
Also radical Idea but an Item called Staff of Invisibility and it’s model is literally an invisible stick.

But I believe there is at least 1 off-hand that just doesn’t display unless you manually unsheathe it. I swear I used to have a transmog saved that didn’t display any weapons (but looked very dumb if I manually unsheathed, since the point was to not have weapons).
That sir is a Fist weapon, not an Offhand item. I’m talknig the giant glowing books, baubles and knicknacks that mages, locks, and priests have when they hold a 1H weapon in their main hand.
What about skull of Man’ari? You won’t be hold anything in your off hand, but there will be demon skull floating near you.
Can’t use that on a Priest or Mage.

If a Shammy then the lava hammers also disappear when sheathed
However this is stopgap measures. Not what one desires if one wants to have the offhand not appear AT ALL.

Some off hands are hidden whilst sheathed so look for those like my monk has an off hander transmogged as a staff which is hidden whilst sheathed
And when in the Weapon out Casting stance? It appears then.

You should be able to hide off hands and make your main hand look like anything you can use (a hpal with sword and board can transmog a 2h).
I think warriors and rogues should be able to cosmetically transmog a range weapon on (like how they used to slot them). Alternatively hunters should be able to mog a dagger or two.
I have a lot of thoughts about the weapon slot.
So, you’re asking for the option to hide the off-hand slot? Honestly, if they added a hide main-hand and hide off-hand to the transmog options, that would be cool!
Having my Gnome Mage not have to carry around staves or off-hands that drag through the floor would be welcome.
there’s one big problem with that…how do you animate a blocking animation WITH NO SHIELD? make the shield invisible…than the animation makes it look like your just tanking hits with your wrist.
If blizz would bring back throwing knives and throwing axes as ranged weapons.
Imagine an MM hunter that snipes people with throwing axes.
They should just add a transmog option to hide weapon for certain classes. Druids for example, Mages, Warlocks, etc. They don’t use their weapon like how warriors and rogues do, and sometimes could ruin a transmog when it can look cooler without a weapon.
