When in combat I want to hide the tooltip that come up when you move your pointer over a skill on the action Bar.
Hmmm I figured someone would know how to do this.
I think it’s an option called show advanced tooltips? There are also addons which can control what the tooltips say, or simply make macros for every ability and don’t have the typical
#showtooltip X amazing skill
as the first line.
If you manually choose the icon for say heroic strike and the macro is
/cast heroic strike
When you mouseover it should be blank
Damn was hoping for a better way than making macros for everything
You’re a warrior lol, you’ll have a bunch of them anyways.
I also have many other toons that I would have to make macros for

Does this work?
Does not work
Use the addon move anything if you can’t find a way to hide it. Then you can reposition it.
You can make the opening line of the macro just a
#show
And it will show the spell name without the description as in
#showtooltip
Which is the default behavior.
