I made a ticket and now I want to cancel it because it is pointless, I can’t seem to find a cancel button. Please someone tell me where it is.
Looks like a rep is already looking at the ticket, Jesicaa, I don’t believe you can at this point. Normally you’d just go into Support > My tickets. Click on the ticket you have open and there should be an option to close/cancel it.
As for the request, I’m not sure that is something we actually have access to do in Classic. Even if we wanted to and policy allowed for it, I don’t believe the option exists for us. Sorry.
okay thanks. Also even when I just opened it there was no option.
Vrak I had this same problem recently. I wanted to cancel a ticket that was no longer relevant but that option to close wasn’t there. Since my ticket had only been open a few minutes when I decided to cancel I don’t think it was already being looked at but I suppose it’s possible.
I gave it a try just now and there was a Cancel option:
I randomly chose the Mail Return Request category and it did allow me to cancel it. What category did you use when you noticed the missing Cancel option?
Hmmm…don’t remember of the top of my head. It’s good to know the cancel button is still there though. So either my ticket was being looked at already or I somehow totally missed seeing the cancel option. Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve overlooked something obvious.
This is not there. There is no “cancel” at all.
