Hi, Could we please get some more Druid forms?

Hi, Blizzard Dev Team. could we please get some new forms in either the next season 2 or season 3?

I have some ideas also for healer, I would like two version for them, one that is a humanoid cat form so they can kitty without having to shift make one for the ladies and one for the men. have leaves around their neck and back then put some bark around their arms and legs.

for the other form make it a humanoid form with boomkin looks with a beak being able to change it plus a smaller form then the normal boomkin form give them leave around their arms and then across their back with flowers in there as well.

with Bear I’ve had an idea I’d like to draw of a silver bear with purple lines going across it. ā€œthat glows at day time and shimmers at night with little starts coming off it.ā€

with Cat I’d like to see some kind of bronze cat with a dark green ā€œthat glows at nightā€

I’d like some of these via a dailies or mob drops or some in the next raid.

The reason why being a druid main at the moment all I do is look at my forms, which by the way I’m happy with but I’d like some more to work towards.

Thank you for your time in reading this.
Hopefully some of those ideas can be used.

Very likely you’ll get to play with the Harronir and it’s druidic forms later for 11.2. :8ball::robot:

edit: Not as an argument against more forms, possible future prize for druids. :crystal_ball::robot:

I’d love playable cave elves, but I don’t see anything in that roadmap that suggests adding a new allied race, much less the Harronir specifically.

They seem nearly compete with customizations, reuse animations of an elven model, and a heritage armor. Many are assuming (me too) it should be possible once we explore that race. :hourglass_flowing_sand::robot:

Oh yeah, it doesn’t. Oh no. :robot::sweat_drops:

I mean, I like my Druids and their different forms too, but you all got a patch not to long ago basically dedicated to your class. Lots of new forms and customisations. I would say give the other classes a chance at cool things too.

Druids SHOULD get at least one new form for Feral and Guardian each major patch.

It’s the bare minimum since every major patch they have all the dedication to design a collection of weapons that every spec can see, except for Guardian and Feral.

And it’s really unlikely they have to design forms from scratch because let’s be real… The ā€˜new’ Druid forms outside of race specific ones or the old Artifact Weapon in Legion, are all borrowed from creatures that are already designed for the content.

I don’t wanna think Druids have to wait for another nature themed major patch to finally get new forms.

This is ultimately where the issue lies.

Non-druid players see getting a new form as a big deal for druids, but for Druids having a new form is the equivalent of getting a new transmog, something every other class can expect to see every single patch.

You guys got handed a bunch of new customizations from S3 of Dragonflight.

How about giving some other classes some love, huh?

Yeah… I even suggested somewhere else:

If they want to be intentionally stingy with releasing new druid forms/recolors (Runebear recolors WHEN!?), for this patch-to-patch compromise, they could add in new accessories to be customized on the basic forms.

Exactly like Moonkin got, which is excellent! Alas, I hate playing as a fat bird… But imagine if every major patch, Druids could get for Bear/Cat/Moonkin, a new unlockable accessory, potentially themed after whatever the patch is.

That would feel better to the obscene length of time that we have between new Druid forms.

Have you considered the obscene length of time Mechagnomes had to wait for to get a Mechagnome themed hammer? All that yelling for one piece.

It’s a start, but that isn’t satisfying enough.

Other classes get love every patch, with visible new weapon and armor. Every month with new Trading Post equipment.

But that’s just one single item, and great that’s there. Mechagnomes also have a myriad of other thematic weapons, even dating back from WotlK. Guardian and Feral have no choice but to stick with the limited visuals.

None of which are designed for them, because Mechagnomes I’m talking about were released in BfA. Anybody could pick those weapons up.

You’re talking about designing for one race that almost nobody plays when we almost never get stuff focused on specific races anyways, versus a cosmetic for half a class when other specs all get multiple tints of tier sets every single patch.

I get this is your pet issue or whatever but it’s not relevant to the discussion.

Literally the Mechagon-side weapons from that patch all follow Mechagnome color themes. If that’s not proof that they were designed to go alongside mechagnome visuals, idk what is. Even the mounts.

Please tell me you’re not jumping to backseat modding. That would be horrendously lame.

I say this again. Druids just got a whole bunch of new cosmetic pieces from S3 in Dragonflight. It’s time for a shift, whether you like it or not. And it’s going to occur in 11.1.

Don’t be a clown. Telling you that you have no point isn’t modding.

They got four or so new forms with a few recolors of each, yeah.

So that leaves them with about 30 more to be on par with what every other spec has gotten.

That’s not the exact matter in hand. What is being asked here is that Druids (the ones that stand in shapeshift all the time) gets equal treatment to every other spec in the game.

And that happens by adding at least ONE thing every patch, compared to the multiple options that others always get.

If you want to make that argument, don’t make it from a Mechagnome. You guys don’t understand what tmogs are anyway.

Well then you can stop playing dictator and ignore my posts. Very easy.

ā€œEqual treatmentā€? Have you SEEN how much treatment Monks are getting right now?

Edit: Actually y’know what. I don’t see the OP posting anywhere for the subject at hand so I’m deducing this as a bogus thread. Get in line, Druids. You’ll get your turn soon enough.

If you behave.

Or I can continue to point it out when you post stupid things.

Getting peepants because feral and guardian druids got a few crumbs several patches ago is a pretty stupid thing.
