I like my slow flight, please don’t make me go faster.
Oh in that regard ,it would work, everyone was thinking you wish high speed on old mounts but didn’t get the last sentence. For aerial combat only thing a gryphon needs is time and a swoop nothing else with talons it’ll work.
Faster flying mounts means you accomplish your tasks quicker and will log out when done. This is not good for game engagement metrics to show the shareholders.
Nope. Have no desire to hit Ludicrous Speed.
Hence why I said: Options are always good. I don’t want to go faster either. It was just a curiosity question. And despite fast flying not be available (still wish one could choose when mounting up, but wishes are personal and not usually the majority of players), for our old winged mounts, you gotta think they’re headed for aerial fighting, or at least working for it - or Pathfinder no matter what for your regular mounts, which personally I think is a low blow on their part.
Don’t need speed for aerial assaults you need abilities to fight while in air ,speed only extends the fight. It is cool but not practical in a fight.
Makes sense.
Dragon Riding is where the speed is at period. You all want snail rail then that is what you get period. That is why. Dragons Fast Regular flying snail rail.
I seen the take for the new raid where you fly ona dragon in what looks like a aerial fight ,it’s not a real fight at all ,flying through the air and orbs to take out ,really ,that’s like the quest we get with the insects . But if blizzard would have it you would more likely be doing flappy bird fight.
LITERALLY lmao…
[Hey, why can’t our oĺd mounts fly fast?]
troll me again and Ill add you to the ignore list.
Probably because back in the day, loading from one zone to the other would have caused crashes. I think the game can render stuff faster now. Someone with software knowledge could probably explain.
That’s not what op is applying see the last sentence.
This is going to be one problem on DF in all old world zones…people are gonna very quickly realize that thanks to Cata and BFA most oldworld zones currently are desolate, even half the lore cities.
Flying: Static, Up to 440% speed
Dragonriding: Dynamic, Up to ~1450% speed
Flights: Afk, Up to 760% speed
All different speeds and methods, pick one that suits you. Ez.
That would make sense if there weren’t a bunch of slow flying dragon mounts still…
It would be cool if there was a piece of mount gear that gave any flying mount dragon riding mechanics, but I doubt Blizz would bother working on it, even if it’s possible.
Which one is better though in an aerial combat. speed or precision?
Speed, cause… RUN!
You know there will be more demands. People will be zooming past them and they will be upset about it.
We’re flying not running if I’m going for a target on a gryphon which is better? the speed and hit or the precision of claws on that target? This is what op was asking.
