So, most of you prolly know that Vrakthris has been here since forever.

I went searching to reply to a recent post here because I want to say there was a Twitter post re: the Newcomer Chat cusser being a known bot group, but Twitter is useless. This person/group has done this in MG trade chat as well, recently in fact.

Anyway, that is what I was looking for and, I stumbled on this post reply from Vrakthris from waaay back in 2010:

I am wondering if that is still a thing or has that been address retired? It also mentions the penalty volcano and that ain’t a thing any more. So maybe not. Thanks!

Not sure that’s used anymore, Lorethon.

As to the profanity in chat -yes, they know about it. Not quite sure what they think they accomplish by it, but yes, reporting works.

They just need to be reported via right click spam and they should be dealt with, If they keep coming back then they are getting new accounts, So keep reporting!

Generally speaking, there are some people out there VERY happy to spend money (e.g. creating new accounts) to “stick it to the man” or to just troll people.

It’s very unfortunate, hopefully a solution comes soon.
