Stop setting end of maintenance times when you can’t seem to meet those times. You ever hear of under promise over deliver? You are doing the opposite. Whoever is in charge of setting those times is not very good at it. It’s not rocket science just make the original time longer and if you come on earlier great. I now know to double whatever time you guys say you are going to be down, but instead of me having to figure that out, just fix it yourself. It really is that easy.

You do know sometimes during maintenance somethings will take longer to deal with when it comes to hot fixes, and stuff, which can cause maintenance to be extended. Like, if it needs to be extended, then it needs to be extended. Blizzard can’t control when somethings can take a little longer than expected, which is why they usually put an estimated time for when it may end.

Blizzard has no control over the product they design and maintain? Who does? It’s obviously bad IT and QA practice either way you slice it.

Folks, we understand the frustration when maintenance goes over. I’m afraid Customer Support has no involvement in this process so we can’t really say what caused it but our Game Developers and Engineers are working to complete maintenance as quickly as they can to get everyone back in.
