Well here is the thing…did I believe what I was saying, yes it was my opinion, but I accept though that sometimes we should keep our thoughts to ourselves.
Please please please please please never teach your child this. There is nothing wrong with accountability. People digging in their heels when they’re blatantly wrong is responsible for 90% of the problems we have in society right now.

I’m a long time forum user and I’ve read a majority of your topics (not a stalker I just check the forums a lot lol!) but I’ve never seen you do anything wrong or bother anyone or name call.
I know exactly how you feel tho, and I hope you find peace in that the forums are only a big deal if you make it one. I use to love this place and I had to get a grip on my own sanity that it’s not really all that special, not even the web team is as passionate as its regulars are lol!
To further add, this is a forum discussion where our threads are suppose to make a discussion happen, and share opinions. It’s not really enforced so people kind of go with the flow here I noticed over the years. (I.e. vanilla servers are bad will never happen)
I’d only apply “keep our thoughts to ourselves” to topics you know that are going to get nuked or IRL talk with a buddy. For me I’m a Jesus freak so just naturally talking it comes out, but I never interrupt if my friends talk about their views or differences, I just let it slide off and focus on what we’re doing, or if I see a comparison or something relatable I’ll shine in

Don’t apologize and don’t worry about it.
I was suspended once for laughing at what I thought was a joke. Seriously, it was funny and I thought they were clever.
Apparently they didn’t like that. On that particular toon I was flagged frequently after that and had to change.
So there’s no need for an apology. Some people are just like that and there’s nothing we can do about it except eventually leave.

This tells me you’re not a long time forum user because Elae, Elili (however you spell it) and some low level female human Paladin he used to post on would constantly make inflammatory threads and/or post.
For the longest time there was a running joke to quote his posts before he deleted them.
Edit: I will say you’re definitely not as bad as you used to be, Elae. I’m glad you calmed down a lot but this thread shows that sometimes the old you rears its head.

If you don’t know what was said that may have upset someone or a group of people, there’s literally no point in apologizing. You can’t be sorry about something you don’t even know

I got banned for calling worgens dogs. But people are allowed to call Draenei goats.
I wouldn’t worry about apologizing unless it was seriously offensive. Some folks take offense to even wow-jokes.
Also, Blizzard didn’t make Garrosh apologize when he called Sylvanas a “bad word”.

Also, if you end up having children and get to that point where your child says something along line of screw you mom/day I think you would welcome an apology.
