Well it was only the very first post in that conversation that got buried, tbh I am the sort of person that will say what I want to say, speak my truth and stand for what I believe in/think but if a lot of people are getting offended and upset that’s when I realize I need to self-censor a bit.

It’s good to be able to learn from mistakes. Sometimes we do have to self censor.

The problem I have with Alladrin’s attitude is that we arrogantly take the approach that we are 100% right no matter what, and see apologizing always as a sign of weakness, I don’t know, it just feels like erring too much into pride, sometimes as humans we say/do stupid things that don’t realize that we might think its a harmless comment but don’t realize people on other side of the screen could actually feel very, very hurt

I get suspended like once every 2 weeks, not a big deal tbh, longest I’ve gotten has been 4 days and it resets back to 1 after a certain period of time.

Also you can’t edit a post to avoid a suspension, mods can see all your edits.

Well we can shrug it off as no big deal and in the grand scheme of things it’s not going to kill you, but sometimes we have to have some humility and learn from our mistakes, to me this is bigger than wow though this is about my beliefs, that I realize that I really keep some of my thoughts to myself

Allandrin you confuse me, I’ve been taught that if we say something that has caused people hurt and distress, we better say we are sorry and ask for forgiveness fast, it’s not seen as a weakness or anything.

I know when people say sorry to me, for even little things, like not texting me for a while, I appreciate it as I know it means they value the friendship etc

There’s also a big difference between apologizing because you mean it and apologizing because you fear the repercussions of what you said/did.
