Most people do not put in that they want Heroic Plus in their note, also people will seemingly be oblivious to party messages stating it’s a heroic NORMAL dungeon till the last moment when they ditch. This is not a one-off occurrence; this is happening majority of the time for me.
-Mechanics such as affix with a terrible graphic that is extremely hard to see. Personally I don’t like this mechanic at all as it makes tanking with most DPS a nightmare. Not everyone is always playing with friends, when I pug and this goes for retail and wrath people are just GO GO GO GO. So now the entire group ends up blaming each other when it was a simple problem the whole time.
Heroic Plus in general has amplified the worst traits of WoW players. Lying, impatience, greed, ilvl chasing, lack of community. Combine that with the sometimes-cryptic mechanics for playing just getting back into Wrath classic it’s been a bad experience, so bad I am writing a forum post on it.
This can all be resolved by just letting myeuse a dungeon finder that is automated or has separate variable for heroic plus. This way I don’t need to spend 30minutes weeding people out who are silent till the last moment and can do heroic plus when I am ready for it on that dungeon.
I just hate how silent Blizzard is against this whole thing with the RDF. It’s like they are intentionally ignoring the community which leaves a sour taste in the mouths of the players. I call for a community poll like they do on OSRS, let the community decide what they want in the game.
They really just need to add a distinction in the menu when queuing up…
When they do most of these issues will go away on their own.
And it made it near impossible to get a group for H dungeons unless I really insist in guild chat. Forget about random finder, ppl don’t read comments then dump you the moment you say you want to run H. (Or they quit if you’re the one making the group).
Funny because if they asked us, most players would’ve pointed the fact that there needs to be that distinction in the finder, lol.
As of now I am at 3.3k GS I spent 5 hours in dungeon finder today as tank, was able to get one grp together. It took a lot of work though, at this point in this expansion everyone wants to do Heroic Plus for the extra bits of gear and I get it, but I want to be able to relax and farm heroics like I used to. Now if I want a group I need to focus really hard and negotiate with tons of people. Before it was just “hey lets go LBRS”, now its “hey want to do UK Heroic Normal?” “you know Heroic normal, not heroic plus”.
Yep definitely. Ran into the same issue on my freshly dinged alt priest. Had to spend more time actually looking for a “heroic normal.” Funny thing is I got to 80 on the same day Ulduar released, I didn’t realise there was no h+ finder so I queued as normal into heroics, I literally got spammed with invites for a healer then kicked when they realised I was undergeared. I tried to get some crafted/boe upgrades and got to a decent 3.3k gs but still was struggling to heal an UK h+ that I joined by accident. They were patient with my mana atleast and having a quite geared tank helped.
Also complained about the same thing that I just wanted to farm heroics for badges so I can buy upgrades but no one wanted to run heroic normal anymore or it’s a pain to sift and find players who wanted the same. Well after 2 weeks I’m now at 4.2gs and am doing the daily h+ only now for 5 conquest badges and will buy some items as well. I did run naxx 10 and 25 once, and now I think my priest is finally ready for Ulduar
Usually if I’m able to find a regular heroic group we are trying to do world tours. I just want the badges on my alt and it’s so hard to find regular heroics anymore.
