It really needs to have it’s own spot in the group finder. My fresh 80 alt can’t find a single group for heroics at 3.6k gs because everyone wants to do + that takes 4.1k gs. When you que for a heroic on the group finder people inv you then install remoce you when they see you aren’t over 4kgs…how the heck are you supposed to gear up fresh 80’s now? /rant /sigh

Is what people will tell you in this thread I bet instead of addressing the problem in the game just abuse the system. I love the process of getting your prebis especially in WOTLK, where it’s designed for you to do heroic dungeons so you can rep grind and earn valor to buy nice loot.
I’m not looking to rush through the content, the whole fun of MMO’s has always been the long grindy process and that feeling of achievement when you hit your goals, of course I’m gonna get bored if some guild lets me get geared up by letting in me in with lvl 70 dungeon blues and I just start showing up to the weekly raid farm.
but now with this heroic plus, I can only manage to do 1 heroic a day and it’s the daily because some people just want their badges, finding a group for any other dungeon is a struggle of constant groups dying because people think you can pull tanks and healers out of your butt in 10 minutes.

I agree with you at the moment that they should’ve included a way to mark your listings for Heroic+. That being said, I don’t think it will actually matter the later we get into Wrath. When people are fully Ulduar-geared (and beyond that in Phase 4+), they’re not going to look for gear score like they do now. At that point, it will be the same way that people don’t look at gear score for regular heroics now. I’m betting that any warm body will do, and the highly-geared players will invite whoever and ask for people to set it to Heroic+ regardless.
This is meant to be a catchup mechanic after all, and once we outgear the difficulty, it will be facerolled just like regular Heroic is.
I mean, joining a good guild can solve this problem, but, I do agree that there needs to be something done about TR dungeons. Whether it’s a separation in the LFG tool from normal Heroics, a nerf, or something else.
