you wouldn’t have classic if not for the pserver people, get off your high horse and stop being so anti south america
I don’t think anyone is being Anti-South American. I think they want to claim a server where they can speak their language and avoid streamers and we would like the same. Personally I wish the streamers would all just get banned but that seems unlikely.
It’s hilarious that I didn’t know Illidan has a large non-english pop until this comment and some googling. The game is so anti-social now that I just straight up didn’t realize a good chunk of my home server (for 2 years!) has a large spanish playerbase.
Illidan also requires the “block Chinese” addon to even see chat because of the massive amount of Asian hieroglyphics everywhere. It’s long been an unofficial Asian server too (though I’m not at all sure which languages are represented between Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or “other” as block Chinese covers them all and effectively ignores the lot of them)
That’s just it, you will have streamers, big and small. You will have people that speak another language. Simple, don’t group with those people, it’s the same thing with people and the hate for meme specs. If you don’t like it, exclude it. SIMPLE
How much of the server population are we expected to exclude while chats are spammed with Streamer garbage, Portuguese, and Spanish? Europe got language differentiated servers so people could play with others who speak the same language as them. We are seeking to avoid large streamers because they have a negative, disruptive influence on whatever server they are on. We are all here trying to have fun and trying to ensure, before we start, that we avoid elements that are going to inhibit that fun.
Imagine being more cancerous and obnoxious than the Streamers you dislike. At this point I want to play on a streamer server just so I dont have to deal with a bunch of entitled man children that cry about everything and have no self awareness regarding their own toxicity and are only capable of pointing the finger at others.
I mean, can you imagine a server that consists of people all this full of themselves? Sheesh… I don’t even want to know how some of you guys will respond at the most minor of issues if it “bothers” you.
The way I see it, it’s PVP servers. If you have a problem with a community making sure that something is unwelcome via PvP…then you just don’t understand PvP at all.
Where in the history of PvP servers is it written that “Streamers with blacklists and their moronic fanbase are always welcome to PvP servers”? Just curious. People aren’t trying to avoid them for no reason. Gank the wrong one and they’ll go out of their way to ensure you make no progress on that server.
I cant wait to stream snipe them most people can just grind pvp gear no big… funny he thinks there guild will be some sort of gods our current guild will stream roll the content prob before them
This person sounds like a sociopath.
The solution is clear… Kill and camp any steamers or non English speakers until they find a different realm…
That’s entirely within the pvp rule set.
Then report any foreign language (including twitch speak) with RCR and let the entirely automated system take care of it.
Fixes the perceived problems with steamers on servers, language barriers on servers, and may eventually fix rcr/automated squelch too.
Blizz provided sufficient tools to handle this and that’s apparently how we are going to be forced to handle it.
Perception doesn’t do much if they’re not already really close. And demon hunters don’t exist so you’re literally able to run around with no one to stop you. All you need to do is find a random hill and laugh to yourself as an entire army tries to hunt you down in vain, and feel proud of yourself that you got that many people to try simply for your sake.
That is, incidentally, why I quit PvP servers. Rogues own the whole place, you can’t stop them, and you only look foolish for trying. I’d get interested in warmode years later when the great equalizer (demon hunters) were finally out and about.
Don’t tell me what to do
I love the attempt but you know asmong gold gonna see this and say foock that guy -joins herod to spite playerbase- plus since his ghroup was first to down herod on the beta…i feel like he will join anyways to stroke his ego of killin herod…
Soooo what happens when your server gives birth to a streamer? What if you become a streamer? Then what?
Skullcrusher had this problem when I first played on it in tbc there were so many and after I stopped and went back when it became a low population server nothing but Chinese hieroglyphs are seen in trade chat.
they only listed 2 out of the 6 pvp servers
If the streamers really do pick Herod after publicly showing interest in it, it would undermine the whole reason for not listing a server up front. If they think that players are expecting to go Herod then they won’t waist time trying to get a name there
I live in central time zone. west coast is 2 hours behind us. east coast is only 1 hour ahead of us. the chose is clear to me. also west coast has a big risk of getting hit hard by the Chinese.
we can only focus on the larger streamers. small streamers can’t be avoided
Herod will be perfect for stream sniping.
Hey if you care so much about not playing on a streamer server or a server with BR/Latin Americans. Go to whitemane, the ping will be perfectly fine and if there’s supposedly such a massive movement you should have plenty of other EST people to play with.
