Herod - The People's PvP Server

Hopefully that’s the plan if they roll on Herod. Got guild leaders and other people in on it. Hoping it grows! I believe we can all do our part to make our community free of that toxic crowd.

Not interested in fame my dude

So let me get this straight. Streamers feel limited in their server choice due to avoiding the Brazilian and Latino communities. Brazilians want to avoid Streamers. Latinos want to avoid Streamers and Brazilians. They all want EST PvP servers and we only have three. So the rest of us get stuck with one of the three poison pills depending on which server we end up on and there is no way to avoid it because they’re all avoiding each other.

Imagine that a streamer will not effect the players of the server. Yeah, we all wish that were true but its not.

they have also said that they would not pick till monday. telling the stream snipers that Herod is where they will play is going to work against them. it is an obvious lie to dodge players trying to snipe their names.

I have heard it pernounced He-rod, and He-road, and Her-road

I would think that would fix everything, but I dought blizzard can set that up in 2 days on the weekend.

yeah I have 2 community groups for herod that are mostly players from central and eastern time zones. battle net communities cap out at 1000 players so we are using a discord now.

I am probably not going to play Classic that much if at all, but I have seen many of the WoW streamers promoting and wanting that Classic community, and have regularly bashed Retail WoW and said how Classic was the only thing they would really want to return to.

Personally, I see it as a very unfair thing for the very community that I have seen hailed as so amazing start off on this foot. I understand your position, it is just a little disheartening that there is already a divide in said community.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy Classic, just be careful of the community you create. As far as I am concerned from a thread like this, Classic is not looking any more inclusive than Retail WoW and this is basically a threat to gank or essentially blacklist anyone who happens to stream and players who want to part of their community.

Exaclty this…

My guilds is leaning towards Thalnos and im just like…

That is fine, but people are going to have to see where those streamers are and avoid them. Can’t really expect them to cater to you.

It is funny, however, seeing all these people making out like streamers are the worst, yet in the same breath promising to be toxic af and camp them for days if they don’t do as they’re told. I’m sure that will work out.

Death to all streamers. I shall camp until logged.

You’re only going to slow down your own leveling if you’re spending all your time stream sniping him. I get that you’re most likely just s### talking, but still…

well you definitely get the whole “streamers are terrible people” part down.

They’ve been saying since the list cane out herod is their top choice.

@op What about people who want to play on Faerlina? You don’t get to speak for the entirety of the community.

They announced Thalnos will be the non streamer server:

Doesn’t matter. They aren’t holding our guild coordination hostage all weekend just for 20 people to decide where they want to go. We’re deciding where we are going for them. And it isn’t fair for them to claim the most popular name which would organically be the biggest server based on that alone. They want us to have the scrap servers and go play with the south americans. No thanks.

I’m going to grief every streamer I see and if I see a fellow faction streamer I’m going to join their group and do some DK farming if you know what I mean.

Oh, thats so cute and innocent of you. You don’t believe the big streamers will get their name reservations first? They will pick their servers and be able to reserve them prior to the rest of the community. It is in Blizzards best interest to do it that way.

Agree. Its not the same streamers so much to avoid. Its the fan boy cucks that will follow them every where they go

I’m more concerned about queue times. The queue times on the streamer server will be ridiculous.

I would also like Herod to be the people’s server and free of streamers.

However Herod seems like a popular choice so far, and for us that means that streamers also see Herod as being popular and you know what streamers do? Congregate with populations to get more views whether hate or love.

Also I highly doubt Blizzard will just tell them “no” to specific servers. But that would be cool lol

You’re playing on a PVP realm. Fair fights don’t exist.
