Look at this economy Paladin. Didn’t even upgrade to premium draenei.
I use the heritage sets or at least parts of it in a lot of mogs. Sometimes I use the full set, like the Orc, Tauren, and Lightforged Draenei sets. Sometimes partials from the Dark Iron and Dwarf sets. They’ve all been pretty good, though I tend to turn off shoulders.
This is so true unfortunately. The male Kul Tiran are literally almost unplayable without their Heritage Armor.
I dread the day they release the Pandaren heritage armors. A blue and red one, with nothing added what the community has been asking for. It will be an absolute disappointment.
Due the Horde bias. As always. They put no effort into most of the Alliance sets. Compare it to the Goblin and Tauren armor, there are worlds between them and the Worgen and Night Elf-set.
Not only don’t they add physics to the Alliance set but they also not pay attention to the correct colors used. The Heritage Weapons from the BfA PVP battles (80 mark of honor) the Night Elves are much darker compared to the Heritage Armor.
The Dwarf-set is okay but still lacks physics on the belt. And they haven’t released a suitable Wildhammer heritage set as well.
I remember when the first few Heritage gear sets were introduced they had different colour combos of them, yet they never came into the game…
Would love if they had those again.
Some various colour combos would suit different classes better and would be pretty neat for lore as well, or suit various players more if it’s their favourite colour.
Zandalari (Although I don’t have it )
After them, I’d say Taurens looks pretty rad too though, especially on druid.
I’d like Nightbornes better if they didn’t have that stupid thing on their chin. lol
Night Elves looks pretty on-point though, however personally the Darkshore gear-set looks like it should’ve been heritage armor for them.
I hate when people debunk threads with comments like these:
On some toons, I use bits and pieces. I gotta collect the other ones that I don’t have at some point.
And it’s nauseating to see praise for backward decisions only because it has Blizzard^tm
I like most of them, though I think they tend to be aesthetically limited to one or two classes. Like, both the Orcs’ sets heavily favor melee classes and don’t really fit on a caster.
The only set that I personally just do not like is the Worgen. It looks like something I would’ve expected to see on a Goblin.
I have all the heritage sets and the only ones I use are -
Gnome (the best IMHO lol)
Tauren (both varieties)
Dark Iron Dorf
Standard Dorf
Does Mechagnome even count? I have one in his little helmet lol. Other than those I use a few pieces here and there but that’s about it.
It definitely counts.
Imo I think it’s the only armor in game that makes them look good.
Did you see this thread? I have it bookmarked because they did a really good job.
Well thanks Grumbles.
I appreciate the link but I don’t appreciate you pointing out that I’m not creative at all
Man that green/bronze warrior/DK mog looks amazing.
You’re very welcome. And me either lol…
That’s why I bookmarked it.
I like my blue skin color, wouldn’t want to be white or grey or have yellow eyes.
I honestly don’t see my Undeads changing out of their heritage set anytime in the forseen future. I love it!
Using the heritage sets on all the races that have it. My fav is still the High Mtn Tauren, and regular Tauren sets.
I tried sort of to talk myself into caring about the Worgen heritage set, but sadly my brain was like nah I’m good.
I use the human heritage armor (green variant) on my paladin, but only the chest, legs, and waist. I use pieces of other sets to finish off the look and make it less “off the rack”.
My favorite heritage questline was the Orc one.
My favorite set is the Nightborne.
I love most of them.
These are the ones wearing theirs:
- NE Druid
- BE Pally Bloodknight set
- NB lock
- VE mage
I still need to level a Tauren, HMT, KT, MG, Gnome, Goblin, Vulpera and Dwarf for theirs.
I’ve unlocked Tauren and Vulpera… And I think that’s it. I have no real care for heritage armor because I don’t need a reminder of what race I’m playing. Now, if I could earn it on other characters to showcase their allegiances, then they’d pique my interests much more. As it stands however, I don’t have any real affinity or drive for them.
I haven’t unlocked all of the Allied Race ones yet, but for the ones I have, it depends. I’ll usually use the full set when I get each at least for a little while. Dwarf, Tauren, Worgen, and Goblin have fallen by the wayside for me, but so may revisit them or at least certain pieces in the future. Currently, my Orc (will change him out in 10.2), Night Elf (will keep her in that for 10.2), and Zandalari are in their full heritage armor. Next time I level a Void Elf, I will use their full heritage too. For Blood Elf, Human, Mag’har, and Undead, I’ve been mixing heritage pieces with outside armor that I think looks cool.
