Heritage Armor

How many of you actually use it? Do you have it on your main? An alt? Which one do you think is the best? Which one do you hope comes out next?

Also, for those that have them all, feel free to show them off.

I don’t use the set on my main but I do have them all mog’d on an alt. Ofc I think the tauren is the best one. I hope pandas are next.

*Females looked terrible in these two sets so I created my first male characters in 19 years! I enjoy them and see why guys do it.

I’m using the full UD heritage set on my Rogue, but it looks so good on her and for her class fantasy.

I really love this set and enjoyed getting it. The questline felt very old school Forsaken.

I never use it as a complete set, but do work parts of it into various transmogs when I can. I find the orc and maghar sets the most useful in this capacity.

The Lightforged armor colors are so specific to that set that its hard to find any real use for it.

I loved the UD heritage questline. I have very fond memories of Scarlet Monastery and the questline reminded me of the DK starting questlines.

The Night Elf one was kinda meh though.

I’m hoping since bloodhunter was made universal instead of zandalri 2.0 that means kultiran drust style is possible for all in the future.

Dwarves should get sleeve tattoos for bracer slot.

The wonders of race-locked armors!

Almost no one will use them.

Meanwhile, as mentioned over. The bloodhunter set is worn by plenty.

Wearing my Bronzebeard set right now! I don’t use the belt and I only use one shoulder. I love how it looks with the Silver Hand.

(Side note - if you use or have the Silver Hand mogged when you do Dawn of the Infinite, Tyr will talk to you about it.)

I used the Void Elf set for ages, and I still switch to it occasionally. There’s changes I’d like to make to it if I were to wear it as a primary set again, though.

I really like the frostwolf set on my other warrior

She’s in pandaria for my weekly Tusks farm

I think velves have one of the better sets but that popped collar. Ugh. Clips through all the good hair styles.

The collar/hair issue, the helm in general, and the “wings” being attached to what they’re attached to instead of something else/being standalone.

Honestly depends on the character. My main is a human paladin and I have the full weekly Arathi warfront set on him, which is just way better than the heritage armor.

I usually have two characters per race, with one using either parts or the complete heritage armor. Most of the times it’s rather search for the right weapon, because the distribution of the suited heritage weapon has been either very complicated, badly designed or being FOMO content. But usually I wear iconic designs for each race.

I’ll do a collage when I have time.

A lot of the time, depending on the toon and my mood, and whatever new fancy transmogs have come on the scene to take my attention.

Got all except the gnome set. I guess my main is my human pally, so yes.

Hard to declare a single winner. I have great love for basically all of them. The only one that really lets me down and disappoints me every time is the void elf. And that’s because of the damn collar on the chest piece. I want to hide the helm to enjoy their tentacle hair. But for any of the long hairstyles you’re clipping through that stupid collar! Sure, you could hide the chest piece, maybe wear their tabard. But then you’re giving up the void wings! So you’re forced to compromise one of them. Tentacles or wings. You don’t get to have both.

Do you two think it would have been better if the wings were a cloak?

Maybe. But they already have a cloak. I would rather they just added a second version of the chest piece without the collar.
