It was actually raised to 60 with Dragonflight.
On topic: I do sometimes use the heritage sets. I’m wearing the NE one right now, though I’m a much bigger fan of the white/silver set so this one probably won’t last long. Whenever the other tint comes out, I might be living in it for a while.
On other characters, it depends. I use the VE chest with a tabard frequently to get the wings, though the collar is annoying and tends to throw off a lot of sets.
I believe it’s still 50 per server but you can have 10 more on other servers. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
Honestly can’t tell. I see tons of news things about it increasing to 60, but none specify whether the server cap is lifted.
It’s eagle’s rebirth in purple. Just the one for completing the class hall campaign.

Oh, lots of time. I’m thinking of checking it out on my “hippie’” druid. Just haven’t pulled her up. Running toons thru the dreamsurge to do some quick gear upgrades atm.

Velf armor looks ugly as sin and doesn’t even mesh with the Velf idea of being mages and stealthy fighters. It looks more like Nelf Goldshire attire.
Not that I really play my paladin, but I have pieces of my Zandalari troll’s heritage armor incorporated into her outfit along with parts of the Firelands set. It looks amazing.
My main doesn’t have one yet, so only for alts. I use the ZT, DID, Human, and now the NE ones.
LFD & KT are the only ones I have that never get used.
I’d probably use the Blood Elf one if it wasn’t so over-the-top. Not to say that is a bad thing, but it isn’t my style. I love the human and nelf armors, however.
The Vulpera, for me, have the best Heritage Armour that just fits with their nomadic background. It’s what my Vulpera Monk always wears.
Both my Orc and my Mag’har Orc wear their Armour but, I rarely play them so…
I also have Blood Elf Paladin I’ve only played once just to get the Armour.
My Dark Iron Dwarf wears his Armour (except for the helmet).
I’m am hoping that the Nightborne get an alternate set at some point as their current set looks hideous!
I have a few unlocked, and i use mostly just a piece here or there; rarely the full sets. My orcs tend to wear the heritage sets the most.
Unlocking them all will be a fun side quest when i get some time.
as far as heritage armors go I don’t got some of them as I don’t play the related race, many of the alliance races I don’t got the armor for but lightforged I got the armor but don’t use it, VE I use for my VE hunter as it matches the windrunner bow from legion, I love the tauren ones and use both, got the first blood elf set but not the blood knight ones as no BE pally anymore, the nightborne one yes and my Nightborne mage uses it as often as I can although I hate that metal chin spike on it, the worgen armor I got but it’s ugly as sin as it wasn’t made for the worgen form but more so human form. If I didn’t list a race I don’t got their armor but yeah…I use some but not all of them. I picked and chose who I played and didn’t but I take pieces from the vulpera one as I do got the vulpera one but the hat bugs me on it
I can’t see me using anything else especially after getting scythe of the unmaker (armory doesn’t do me justice as my scythe is dark blue because I use “void edge” on it).

Almost all my characters are using heritage armor.
Only exceptions are my mecha priest and dwarf rogue wearing harlequins and my worgen druid wearing… Some random mishmash. I don’t have any serious void elf characters and I wouldn’t wear that one anyway
Kul tiran is one of the best though it has some minor flaws. It’s probably the only thing that looks good on kul tiran though so that’s a little sad.
I’m glad pandas are near the end because this means they have the chance to include all the bells and whistles that previous sets have enjoyed like proper 3d modelled bits and not bodypainted shirts.
Hopefully pandas get something awesome.
I have an easier time wearing the heritage armor on alts I dont play. Part of the problem is, for me anyway, sometimes the heritage sets dont fit the class as well or I like the mage tower set better.
My tauren is a druid, and the heritage armor set fits beautifully, except I found some pants that matched the palette perfectly.
There’s also the bit that I’m mostly playing alliance nowadays and imo most of the A sets are dogwater compared to H (both the dwarf sets are top notch).
How can I use it when we still haven’t got it for Draenei?
I have a tauren, vulpera, and orc, and they use theirs. My orc uses the frostwolf one.
I have many velves, I use it on all but this toon now that I think about it. I use the lighftorged one. I wish the worgen one had an armor version, so no I don’t use it. And yes, all my nelves use theirs. Oh and my one dwarf character uses the heritage set too.
