It’ll send the “Priest LFG Gnomeregan” to the channel, and it’ll tell you who’s also looking for the same group, but you have to do the work manually. This is just an addon that parses LFG chat.
the ilvl thing is what has me concerned. some gear is BIS until bwl or mc gear bis until naxx. ilvl does not work in van it needs to go or this will turn into the same shot retail is.

Quit trying to destroy the spirit of Classic. Please just go away. If you play technicalities and semantics to say why it belongs in Classic, then just go back to Retail. We all know what the spirit and charm and desirable aspects of Classic are.
This isn’t it. Just go back to Retail and accept the convenience and tourism mode that is there. There’s no reason to bring it to the Classic experience.

No one will use the auto-invite feature, it would make awful groups.
You can’t limit groups by ilevel.
We keep going in circles with them. The auto-invite isn’t even going to be a part of the addon.
Its just… its all on the same realm it isn’t any different then making the group yourself. You can still remove problem players and your reputation is still bound to the server. I just don’t see the problem.

MR GM is thinking of doing an extensive video on this addon.
I wonder what else is lurking in this thing that the addon dev didn’t admit to in his interview yesterday.

it is the BFA version, he is on a Dark Iron Dwarf and invites at least 2 Void Elves. so people are complaining about how an addon in retail WoW works in the classic forums

Think about the grouping process. If you see “Tank LFG Gnomeregan”, what will you do? Either whisper or invite. If you want to whisper, you can. Manually. If you want to invite, there’s a button for that. But in NO cases does this addon take away the ability for YOU to start a conversation.
Is there a petition to break this addon? I’d love to sign.

Go to Esfand’s twitch and start watching today’s Classicast at 2 hours and 25 minutes in when the actual Classic devs start talking about addons. They’re fine with addons that don’t play the game for you and the LFG addon doesn’t.
