I have to agree. The human element is important and people need to remember that. Having to do it manually encourages people to interact more. Doing so in stress tests - even for random quests - meant I had much more social interaction with people than I do in Retail (where I have none at all) and it made the experience so much more fun.
Even with reduced functionality, this addon will change the social structure of Classic in a detrimental way. It really needs to be broken by Blizz.
I think he does, but I also think he just does not care about classic or the community, just as his standings as an author. He does not care if he breaks the game doing it.

Issues that are open are not implemented and live, its only a way to keep my ideas saved somewhere so I don’t forget about it^^
I can break the communication to previous versions of the addon if needed.
I think the fact that there have been so many discussions and concerns over this addon in virtually every corner of the internet, is proof enough that this addon will have a large, negative impact on the community.
If we’re having such passionate disagreements now about an addon we can’t even use yet because the game isn’t even out yet, just think of how bad and how toxic this is going to get once Classic goes live.
You have to whisper a predetermined phrase to get auto invited. That’s not social interaction and the player could be on the john when you do this.
But lets step out of raids and dungeons. Let’s say you need to kill an elite. You show up to said elite and no one is there on your layer (in the immediate vicinity) so you hop in the old ClassicLFG tool under custom and see “LFM Hogger, whisper invite.” You whisper “invite” get in the group, kill Hogger, and then leave said group. Which is exactly how it works in retail with the exception you don’t have to whisper a join word. Without this tool, you’d have to ask guildies to help, or ask others in your layer for help. That’s the social interaction you are sacrificing for the efficiency of completing a quest.
You could, but why do that when you can auto join a group and never say a word other than “invite” to those people. You could do the same in retail with world quests and yet most people don’t if no one is around. They hop into the old custom group finder and find a group without saying a word. If that option exists people will use it because it is easier.
