You missed my point, admittedly it was not clear. In retail, not using DBM makes you look like a fish out of water to anyone you are raiding with. That did not used to be the case. If LFG classic catches on, it is easily possible for toxicity to flourish directed against people who do not use the add-on. A mandatory add-on is absolutely a thing in wow. If everyone uses it you also have to use it to avoid harassment or to stay competitive in comparison to your peers. I hate LFG on retail, but do I use it? Of course I do, it will match me with mythic raiders in two seconds. There is no option one way or another on some things.
This is a bad thing. Imagine if you’re annoying DBM messages started popping up on my screen? It is deeply concerning how much of an impact this add-on can directly have on the social aspect of classic at launch, and apparently, for everybody not only its fragile users.
