it dosent matter if it exist, what matters is the possibility… if people can create addons that can be used to automate certain types of gameplay in wow, then that needs to be broken so it cant…

Incorrect. I think I played wow for about 6 hours before I installed addons. Considering I played about 120days /played of vanilla, wow isn’t wow without addons.

I had no less than 15 add-ons before I hit level 40…
Because the macro system in Classic was trash and I had come from Star Wars Galaxies were I could multibox a full group and never touch my other toons. Coming to WoW was a technological downgrade in QoL… my entire Vanilla Experience included add-ons…
Oh look the go play retail logical fallacy… If you dont want the add-on dont use it. If you dont want to be in a group with people using the add-on dont whisper random people from /1. I will not need this add-on because I will have literally hundreds of people in my guild leveling.
You missed my point, admittedly it was not clear. In retail, not using DBM makes you look like a fish out of water to anyone you are raiding with. That did not used to be the case. If LFG classic catches on, it is easily possible for toxicity to flourish directed against people who do not use the add-on. A mandatory add-on is absolutely a thing in wow. If everyone uses it you also have to use it to avoid harassment or to stay competitive in comparison to your peers. I hate LFG on retail, but do I use it? Of course I do, it will match me with mythic raiders in two seconds. There is no option one way or another on some things.
This is a bad thing. Imagine if you’re annoying DBM messages started popping up on my screen? It is deeply concerning how much of an impact this add-on can directly have on the social aspect of classic at launch, and apparently, for everybody not only its fragile users.

if we are going to have a debate, atleast be curtious to quate me accuratly, cutting apart my sentances, how bad they may be, can lead to miss information, and you creating or using my words in ways, i didnet write them…
And like I said before, if it automates it won’t be allowed Per Blizzard. Why keep stirring the pot over something that does not exist because of “what if”.
Im not speaking for everyone, but i do think the majority of people will agree that if an addon dose automate it then break it. But this whole thread is about banning classicLFG, not a what if.

I want classic. I don’t hate ‘LFG’ (whatever that means).
I do dislike LFD/LFR in Retail. Specifically how teleport-to-group and cross realm interact with those systems. Neither of which exist in Classic.
then why are you defending a LFG addon. your making 0 sense.
This is a purposefully painful process that makes the energy it takes to find a group or find a replacement higher when pugging. This makes groups overcoming a challenge more likely to stay together rather than disband or kick an underperforming member.
PLEASE STAY IN RETAIL. dont ruin our game. annoying as hell.

Because I don’t think reading a LFG or Trade chat spam is gameplay.
And that is all the ClassicLFG addon gets rid of… a bad interface.
