Herb drought?

Terocone spawns in shadowmoon Valley u can also try where the sky guard dailies will be and sometimes they spawn on the little isles over by the big spider.

Blizz did say they wanted competition for resources when they announced tbcc at blizzcon.

Other suggestion is not to fly the entire zone. Pick an area of the zone and continously fly around in that area.

Would agree if the OP was a tailor LOL 4 look boxes last night all netherweave cloth and some phat bread hot and straight out of the Mag’har’ oven!

I leveled alchemy for the same thing (not knowing potions would be dirt cheap) I wanted to make my own, but I wind up having to buy the terocones I need anyway for the same even sometimes more than the elixer im trying to make.

Kind of defeats the purpose so I guess alchemy on most servers is just for transmutes for the time being?

Not sure if its worth it to abandon it and start something else, mining looks to have wayy more nodes on my server than any herb pretty much =/ I actively fly around on my 60% andy mount and when I see someone with an epic flyer give up on that spot but lately when I go I see no one and there still aren’t any nodes.

It’s unfortunate that Blizzard makes a profession available that you can’t actually engage in.

I was herb in Classic, on a high pop server… And herbalism basically paid for me to raid & provided me all my consumes.

It was not a bang your head against the wall profession in classic vanilla. At least in my experience.

Server to server… I’m on Pagle… where LFG spam is a 24/7 never ending wall of text… you gotta stop it and scroll up to read.

How do you think herbing is gonna be?

Also on Pagle…

My response is that herbing wasn’t a bang your head against the wall profession in Vanilla classic… I made no reference to the state of affairs in TBC…

It was fine in Vanilla as I said in my response… I don’t know what your laughing at…

It still sucked in vanilla classic if you had any interest at all in black lotus… and it sucks now all the way around which is why I was laughing. You can’t even find terocone…

See… for me… time is money. If I can buy herbs off the AH and sell pots and still make a profit… I’m good. I don’t waste my time competing with 2000 other players (and bots) trying to farm herbs.

Questing on this server also sucked… competing with all those players for quest mobs gave me a pretty good indication at how herbing would be.

Hard pass on that. If you’re picking herbs and coming away with an amount that lines your pockets with gold… hey man, more power to ya. I’d rather sit back and watch undercutting wars on the AH and buy my herbs low and sell pots high.

Again… All I quoted from You was, you claiming you didn’t go herb in classic because it was a ā€œbang your head against the wallā€ profession…

Same server as you, I was an actual herbalist and It wasn’t…

Your lols refering to terocone still don’t make any sense in your response to me, as I did not reference TBCC herbing at all…

Whatever man… nobody cares. If you want to debate you’re better off finding someone else to troll because I don’t give af…

I didn’t find a lot of Black Lotus in Classic but finding one was a thrill that I haven’t felt yet in TBCC. Especially the PVP over the Black Lotus. I won some of those and lost some.

It does suck that some people have difficulties finding any herb. I sold some of my Mana Thistle stash to a guildie who couldn’t find any. I found 5 of them while flying manually to the Netherstorm berry daily the other day.

WOW. Hold on. A whole 45 minutes!!! WOW You almost played like an hour!!!

I run Bot Normal daily now just for herbs. You’ll get a good amount of Netherblooms and usually at least 1 Terocone per run.

Yo, I got 3x Mana Thistle from a box… pretty lucky!

Utter nonsense. Herbing right now.

They didn’t reduce the spawn time or herbs and ores. This never happened lol

announced not implemented. likely next two weeks.

again it is great they are actively helping gatherers and combatting bots.

That is a lie they never announced anything like this. Please link this supposed announcement

No they never reduced the herb spawns and this guy has been asked several times to link the blue. Like I said earlier, he likes to make things up - like how mana thistle is so eaaasy to find.

I don’t believe he’s raking in the gold selling mana thistle, but if he is he’s either camping a spawn all day or he’s botting. Everyone who herbs knows there is a shortage of terocone and mana thistle. You don’t even have to herb to know this, just be able to do math.

If you had one fifth of the entire population of a FULL OG server herbing, that’s 700 people. That same percentage of herbers on a MEDIUM BCC server is 1300. And resources weren’t increased. You can’t have only enough food to feed 10 people and expect to feed a hundred.

People can tell you to herb better (whatever that means) or buy your herbs or transfer to a low pop server or say whatever they like to deflect from the math. It doesn’t change the fact that there IS an herb shortage.

Getting snotty with people and telling them they aren’t playing the game right because they don’t have an epic mount or that they should just buy the herbs is nothing more than obfuscation. The fact is, Blizzard did not increase the resources to account for the increase in population. And it is a problem that they need to address.

Maybe you’re thinking of netherbloom. Mana thistle only spawns in socrethar’s seat (supposedly - never found any there) and that’s in the NW corner of Netherstorm. It’s crazy out of the way from where mana berries grow.

Still out here herbing and making bank!

The only shortage here is willpower of others to put in the work and get their stacks.
