Since Henry Cavill will no longer be in The Witcher, nor any future Superman movies, he has planty of time to continue his hobby of playing WoW.

No, season 3 has finished filming, but one of the Hemsworth brothers will play Geralt in season 4.

Well that sucks. I was hoping for a stand alone Henry Cavill Superman movie because all those Justice League movies were crap. Oh well.

I’m pretty sure Cavill left the Witcher because he thought it was garbage and the writers have contempt for the source material, he’s just too polite to say so. He’s said he would be down for 7 seasons if the writers could respect the source material and keep it interesting.

So they didn’t drop him, he dropped them.

Henry was great, sure. But pretty much absolutely everything else in witcher show was terrible. Especially if you compare it to witcher games. Kings sitting in open field with no guards talking like peasants, such a terrible depiction of power.

From season 1 the Nilfgardian’s armor was just… it was just… I mean, come on. They knew what they were doing.

So, reading your thread I was thinking wait a minute he was supposed to be doing another Superman movie. He just announced it recently. Seems you are right. They decided to totally clean the slate and start over.

I’m definitely not happy about him leaving the role. You know what #$% em. That just makes it easier not to watch anymore DC movies. I didn’t even like the last Batman movie very much either. I wasn’t happy about him leaving the Witcher as well. He was a damn fantastic Geralt. I get why he left it though, they were butchering the source material.

The Snyder cut wasn’t nearly as bad as the theatrical. Totally passable start of a franchise material, certainly better than the first avengers movie. But theatrical release was a dumpster fire, and killed DC’s movies single handedly.

They’re making a similar mistake by not continuing to cast Cavill as superman.

I tried the Witcher, but I quickly grew bored with the camera being centered on his fanny in leather pants. Just like the big blue D in The Watchmen. Did it bother me it was there? Nope. Was it a little too in my face? Well, if you need to swat a blue pecker away from your straw at the movie theater, then yes.
