pretty much what I read about it.
He gave them rules when taking the part, which was sticking to the material. They didnt, so he walked.
At least thats what the article I read was saying

I would guess the writing in both series’ has become too woke. Witcher probably will probably start pushing the agenda with subtle phrases and plot lines. James gunn is probably gonna do a minority/lgbtq superman. I would guess this is why Cavill isnt doing either.

It has nothing to do with wokeness. Henry’s leaving because the director/writers have decided to ignore him and crap all over the source material, something he cares about very deeply. Many of the people responsible for the show don’t even like the source.
His being there was conditional on their respect for the material, and they basically told him to shut up and look pretty so he left.

That was his polite answer as to why he left the show. Cavill is a Witcher nerd, so playing Geralt was likely a huge honor for him to play Geralt. I don’t think he would’ve left Witcher for Superman, I think he would’ve found time for both if he really enjoyed both roles, but he wanted to be out of the Witcher.
I heard Cavill was Clark.
