I am stuck on the Legion mage class quest: Following in His Footsteps. I am stuck on mission 4/5. The 5th mission is not showing up. I cleared all missions and waited 24 hours to see if the missions reset - to no luck. My mage is not a boosted character. She is a level 120 void elf. I’ve had no issues getting this far into the campaign. I am stuck now, and I would like to finish it. I googled this issue and found others have experienced it too but I do not see the resolution and/or how it was resolved.
You might need to put in a ticket to have a GM take a look. According to one of the comments on WoWhead, the system thought that they had already completed 5/5, so the GM had to give things a little nudge.

I ran into the same problem and opened a GM ticket to see if they could assist me. A GM replied that it looked like 5/5 of the missions had successfully completed but I wasn’t being credited for the 5th. They flagged the quest as complete and I was able to continue the quest chain. So I recommend opening a ticket if you’re experiencing the same issue.

I sent a ticket. Blizzard replied with they don’t help with quest issues; report it as a bug. Not sure if abandoning the quest and starting over will help?
I’d recommend re-opening the ticket and see if they can take a second look.

Sometimes you need to reopen a ticket after an initial response. I would give that a try. You can certainly try abandoning and redoing it, but you could run into the same issue. Seems to be an issue with getting credit on that last one.

Be sure you reopen your previous ticket, and not create a new one. Otherwise you may get another initial reply like you already did.

Just wanted to post an update. I replied on the previous ticket. A GM responded today. They completed the quest for me. Looks like I finished the quest but didn’t receive completion on the 5th mission. That is why I was only seeing 4/5, and the 5th mission wasn’t showing up. The info from wowhead was accurate in my case too. Thanks for responding.

I’m having the same issue logged a ticket but no response logged another and still waiting
Haha on my mage for some reason it’s not letting me change my character
If you have two open tickets, please close the newer one. Response times are fluctuating between 24 and 48 hours with game masters working from home and lots of players currently just not working or also working from home due to Covid. They can’t close a ticket without a response, so they’ll get to it in due time.
The second one may also complicate things when the first one comes around and is quick to deal with the situation.
