Officers in the guild kicked everyone and took all the gold in the bank to make their own guild. Is there anything I can do?
blizzard doesn’t get involved in these issues
the GM gave them the relevant permissions

I am the GM. They were childhood friends so they had the permissions. Really never expected them to do this. I dont really care about the gold. It just kinda sucks they kicked everyone.
That sucks, Nothing a gm can do as long as they had the permissions to do what they did. You can reinvite those kicked. Crappy thing to do but no rule against it.
Yeah, it was like 100 people so thats great.
It sucks, if you have a discord you can ask everyone who wants to ask for a reinvite and explain what happened. About the only thing you can do and limit in the future who has what privilege in the guild to kick people.
Well. You could post in Trade to kind of reach out to those who were kicked? Most folks would likely understand, and at least that is a way to try and make sure folks know that they would be welcomed back - for those that got kicked. The ones who mutinied, they’re on their own and hopefully you booted any that linger in your guild as mains or alts.
The issue is the one that did all of this owned the discord for our guild. I did go in and get rid of all the alts they had. I spoke with another officer that was close and left and he said our friend told him we were doing another guild for raiders and was getting people to move.
Painful drama, good luck in rebuilding.
Thanks for the support. Idk if I have it in me anymore.
Howd he dethrone you if he had the option tpndethrone you that was his right and then the guild was his then.
There’s a history list of leaves/joins at the bottom of your guild’s WoWProgress page if you want to reach out to those people.
This is why most of us in this day and age play alone.
This is why some join a long standing guild that this does not happen in. When the people are more about the community then the raiding.
Retail hasn’t been about community in years.
There are some guilds out there that will prove you wrong!

You can make a ticket and see. Don’t expect a yes but things happen. Personally was involved in something like this many years ago, definitely since the stance blizzard does not intervene in this stuff. A gm restored almost everything and removed it from the officer.
They won’t intervene.
The player/s had permission to remove gold/items from the guild bank. They also had permission to remove players.
These permissions were granted by the guild leader.
Was it a nasty thing to do? yes.
Was it against the rules? No.
It doesn’t matter what Blizzard did years ago. The current policy is that they will not intervene or recover a guild if a takeover happened using the tools and permissions set by a the guild master. It would possibly be a different story if the guild leader was compromised, but this wasn’t the case.
