25 raiders. We’ll say 20 want the chest token. At one drop a week, that’s 20 weeks. Now we’ll add at least 5 more weeks due to RNG. 25 weeks, divided by 4, almost 7 months.
Do you honestly expect us to run Tier 4 for 7 months? I don’t get it, especially when you figured that a 25-man would split into two 10-man Kara teams and get 2 T4 tokens each week.
I think the logic is Blizzard wants to be “true” to 2.0 values. Which in theory means that only one token drops (the change happened in 2.1 iirc).
So the reason people are annoyed is there’s already a ton of patch blending being done (including not having t5 at release, which was original in TBC), and this seems like an odd hill to die on regarding amount of tokens available.
Gruul’s and Mag takes less than an hour a week. There’s almost no trash. Alts can fill in as others stop attending. It’s not that big of a deal for guilds to keep it on the schedule as we move into T5 content, IMO.
I ran MC for a year straight to get Thunderfury, so T4 is easy by comparison.
A big issue I notice is we are losing people as fast as we get loot. raider gets bis, quits till next phase. Raid never actually GETS geared. We need SSC and TK stat. we just dont have enough to DO.
happened in classic too, those players will always be those players. a lot of times they dont even get full bis, they just get a couple pieces. content tourists.
