I’ve been bothered by this for awhile now, but I just cant remember some of the names of my first characters. Am I able to get any help recovering my character names on Caelestrasz from around '08 to '10? I can only remember one character from that time, a rogue named Berthorn, but I do remember two night elf druids, one named after my current character but another druid made earlier with a different name which I just can’t remember.
If you’re still using a computer that had data from that time (e.g. if you’re still using the same machine or if you’re using a machine that had the old machine’s data migrated to it, etc.), you can look at C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_retail_\WTF\Account , then select whichever account(s) is there and you’ll be able to see a list of all characters you’ve logged in with, grouped by realm.
There’s also a character search tool that you can try throwing names at to see if a match was seen. It’s a third-party tool though and it doesn’t seem to have been updated for a couple years, but it’s worth a shot:

Here’s another trick. Launch the game, go to the in-game store. Select Character transfer and go through the prompts, you’ll get a drop-down listing all the character on that account and what server they are on.
This could work if the toons still exist, and so could opening the Item Restoration page, but they seem to want help remembering toons from 11-13 years ago that don’t exist anymore from what it sounds like.
Also note, Blizzard doesn’t delete old toons, but the do release the names. So if you are coming back from a long break, there’s a chance you character names would freed up. I’m pretty sure the SFAs are not in yet, but sometimes they’ll look in to it.

Unfortunately, Shielen, the oldest characters on the WoW license you have on this Battle.net account are from 2011. Those are your level 23 Worgen Hunter and level 40 Worgen Death Knight on Caelestrasz. I don’t see a Rogue that wasn’t created within the last couple of years.
Do you remember using any other WoW license or email address? I know the email address has changed on this account a few times over the years, but do you have one that you may have used for another account? If the account was from pre-2009, it might not have yet been attached to a Battle.net account.

Unfortunately my original email address that I had for this account is no longer available and this is my only account, I have a feeling that not being attached to a Battle.net account might be the case unfortunately. Sorry for the late reply.
If you can recall that address, even if it is not currently available to you, our staff may be able to help. They’d need to verify you are the registered user and they’ll be able to update access to it. You’d want to submit a ticket with that information.
