Help Against Double DPS

My friend and I are trying to climb the 2s bracket as an Unholy DK/Disc Priest. So far we have had really good success against healer/dps comps, but struggle against double dps. As a Disc Priest what are some general tips and talents to spec into for these encounters. I appreciate any and all advice!

Typically Ret Pallys and Hunters and then Rogues and Mages

Ah the ol cupid stomperooni and stealthymage destroyer, know them too well.

Both classes you guys are playing I am unfamiliar with so I’ll give a few tips that I use when I play against them.

My suggestion for the cupid is to go on the ret, keep the hunter slowed. With wings slow the ret and kite them, try to keep them interrupted as much as possible and it’s extra good if you kick him below 50% health because they can’t bubble/bop/heal at all at that point so it forces defensives. If it’s a ranged hunter just LOS as much as you possibly can, have your dk use ams on ret wings if you get trapped and they are in a go, or IBF (does unholy have that idk) for damage reduction instead if ams isn’t available.

Mage/rogue is a tough one. Not sure how to deal with that one as a disc, but as a pala I have my partner stack on me to attempt to break damage/split meteor damage. If it’s a sub rogue running shadowy duel you’ll want to have your partner wait for it to go and then use AMS to stop mage damage. Keep them both slowed and los the mage (shimmer ugh) as much as possible.

Sry, that was probably me playing ret/ hunter. Anyway, have your dk perma slow ret with icy chain and he’s useless. Priest should never been in line of ret/hunter. They can’t kill dk so their only win conditions is to mongo priest down, but priest has many ways to not get gimp by ret/hunter period.

Against rogue mage the biggest thing is staying alive. If you live past the third go you basically win. So if they sap dk into gpy, let it hit trinket ams and stack on healer and deathstrike the rogue for health back. Second go is going to be the combust go, so ibf/amz the second go off the stun. Third go priest has to trade pain supp and/or trinket. There should not be 4th go because the rogue or the mage should be dead by then.

Edit: also save kick/grip for mage gpy. There is more but you play dk in 2s so id rather not give you all the sauce
