Hi all, I am trying desperately to farm HF normal mode however the assault fight doesn’t work. When i go in nothing triggers, no mobs charge, the cannons aren’t doing anything and the siege engines don’t drop bombs. Is there something that I am doing wrong? In any video I watch you have to guard the cannons as mobs try to rush it but for me every single mob just sits there.
I am willing to pay somebody to come in and show me how to trigger this fight.
Did you attack Siegemaster Mar? Doing so generally starts the encounter.
I just went into HFC on normal. I can kill mobs in the first round.
Once you clear the first round, the boss calls for two sets of mobs to stand by the cannons. Kill them. Next you fight the boss, and when her health gets low she runs away and starts the waves of baddies trying to attack you and the cannons. Gotta keep killing the waves and loading the cannons with ammo until finally the boss comes out in her big bad metal suite. Kill her, then encounter complete.
I’m wondering if you might be stuck on an early phase and are missing one baddie that might be “hiding” in a corner or behind something. The boss won’t trigger until all the first baddies are dead.
Update: just completed the first boss on HFC normal - seems to be working OK.
I’d look for hidden mobs that need to be killed.
Also, if your instance is a little “sick”, try leaving it for ~1 hour (no peeking) and then re-enter - that might clear up any glitches as long as you haven’t killed any bosses (saved to the instance). I had the trains mess up in BRF so I left and came back hours later and that part got reset.
Oh, did the 1st boss clear on my Mage not my hunter.
