Upgrading heirlooms was not worth the cost since the leveling changes, and even then wasn’t worth i, at least for me.
Heirlooms need to be good in some way to justify that cost, the current set bonuses definitely don’t. So I guess it’s nice they are going to max level in SL but doubtful they will be bought my many.
Eww, what a ridiculous price tag. I know they always have been when they’re the “current xpacs” heirlooms, but now, 150k for a 2 minute buff every time you ding?

I’d like to see the cost of heirloom upgrades re-balanced downwards in general.

If they don’t add gear to Torghast while leveling, this will supplement that, but it won’t feel good, IMO.
Heirlooms were great in a time when leveling was a slog and EXP values didn’t feel appropriate for the zone pacing. But I, personally, prefer drops.
I might upgrade these if there’s another achievement or something associated with them that gives a mount, I certainly have the gold. But as they stand right now, I see no reason to spend gold on them.
The only set bonus that really has much value is the enlightenment one that lasts for like 5 minutes after you level up.
Should of buffed the stats back up some on looms to compensate for xp bonus removal imo. But this is Gizzard we are talking about lol. Always fixing stuff that was never broke. They would rather constantly waste time on adjusting dungeon xp, quest xp( more often screwing it up btw), instead of just leaving things like heirlooms alone. The only loom worth upgrading now, is probably the weapons, since the rest of gear bonuses are lackluster to say the least, since the removal of the xp bonus.

I doubt I’ll bother with this new rank of heirlooms, levelling from 50-60 isn’t that bad.
Considering that most people already upgraded them numerous times already over the years. Believe they started out out at 60 anyways, then up to 90, etc. So they squish levels back to 60, now want people to upgrade them to 60

why would you upgrade them when they dont give XP anymore the rested xp isnt worth it
I don’t condone upgrading them with gold, they are absolutely not worth that imo but you can still upgrade them with holiday currencies as you’ve always been able to. That’s how I’ll be upgrading mine and why? Because most of my 50s are trash geared sub 60 ilvl and more gear = more damage = faster kills = faster leveling.
This is assuming Blizz aren’t full blown potato brains and forget to scale the ilvl 
ya i guess you could use those, idk I dont tend do holiday dailies for badges I usally only do the dungeon if it has one or i farm the stuff to buy and sell the mount later on.
