Seems like a normal scaling to me. Heirloom sets are always a little pricey because they are worth it. Sure the exp is gone but it’s still the best leveling armor there is.

If quest rewards didn’t exist then it would maybe be worth it.

Why worry about it too much? You can level from 50-60 in about 8 hours of game play without heirlooms.

The gear isn’t even good enough to queue for normal dungeons at level 50. thats a problem.

I have a lot of gold cause I never really buy anything but no thanks. I would be ok with 50k per set but 150k is just dumb. What about people that don’t hoard gold like me? Honestly it’s just leveling gear and it doesn’t even have the experience anymore. They need to just make each set cost a couple thousand gold. It gets replaced at max level and it would give people that don’t make as much gold the opportunity to level alts with more ease as well.

There is no reason to pay that amount of money with no EXP boost for gear that will be useless once you his 60. 148,000 Gold is practically the price of a token/one month sub. They ruined the usefulness of heirloom gear when they took away the boost.

With the removal of xp bonus, why even upgrade them? It isn’t hard to level in general as I have leveled multiple alts to 60 with just the item rewards I get from quests. I personally would just save your gold unless they decide to add the xp bonuses again.

You leveled just as a fast as you did getting to 120 with the exp buff they gave at the end of BfA

lol so out of touch.
people wanted heirlooms to make the leveling slog suck less and take less time. that was their entire purpose and reason they were introduced. They removed the bonus in which they were originally intended for rendering them absolutely useless.

Not worth it with the current bonuses IMO.
Since they’re tossing a bunch of damage control QoL things in, maybe they could add back the XP bonus and make these more useful again?

The main reason people bought heirloom gear IN THE FIRST PLACE was the XP bonus.
With that gone… pass.

HARD PASS. No way im upgrading heirlooms for rested XP bonuses that are trash. 150K gold to upgrade Trashlooms is too much for me.
