I wouldnt say its a joke, imo it adds a level of burnout diffusion to the leveling grind and can offer an alternative to dungeon running, on the road from 1-80 there are clutch points where your out of quests in One area but to low for the new area, so bgs xp can closd the gap as well as provide bis gear, we could go into lvl spreads and how heirlooms help maintain the integrity of 1tomax in relation to the average playttime required to reach max lvl so that 1-60classic=1-70 tbcc=1-80 wrath. Well thats the theory, double edged sword of increasing xp gain vs level squish.

Established richer players willâŚ.spring for the boes or find them on dungeon runs. Pass them over to alts when time. Less money concern so not every boe goes to the ah.
They willlâŚ.spring for enchantments. They have the main who makes money. They can burn boes in disenchant. No biggy. Money is still coming in. They wonât make 2000.They make 1000. And they can live with that
Not necessarily true. At level blues were better than the same level heirloom in terms of stats. Thats why most twinks will not have the full set of available heirlooms on depending on the bracket theyâre disabling xp to stay in.

If memory serves, we didnât get many heirloom slots during WotLK. Most came later.

heirlooms didnât ruin anything and were a good addition to the game, a well earned reward for people that already had max level characters.

Wrath was the best era for twinks. Both 19âs and 79âs.
And guess what, neither one of those actually included Heirlooms.
Heirlooms also were a major farming thing for the max level character, those things were not cheap.

You cant twink in WOTLK you level up⌠the closest thing to twinks were people with full Heirloom. Can you not remember?

Also heirlooms werent even the BiS at level for twink brackets. MAYBE the fishing ring was but there were blue items from dungeons that were better than the heirlooms stat wise

Queues are separate for characters with their experience turned offâŚdo you not remember that? Twinking is dead in WOTLK. Only Twinks are people with full heirloom compared to people with normal gear.

just cause queues are separate doesnât mean twinking is dead, it just takes longer to find a group. and it means you will play against other twinks and not someone who just decided to do a BG randomly.
âfull heirloomsâ like what, 4 items that are actually weaker than at lvl blues from dungeons? the purpose of heirlooms is so you donât have to worry about swapping out all your items and can level faster.
