Heirlooms from old vanilla servers to classic servers

Is there a way to transfer heirlooms from vanilla servers/Live to classic servers? As I was playing today i remembered I pretty much have all the herilooms from wotlk vanilla from back in the day and was thinking since they are account bound why wouldnt I be able to send those old herilooms to my classic toons? I tried of course but the classic servers do not show up in my list
Has anyone found a workaround or is this even possible

To me account bound is account bound so there has to be a way

No you can’t.

They are classic account bound not Bnet acount bound. They share accross Bnet acount but only within classic not accross games. Live and classic are not the same game.

Sure, but they are basically separate games. Just like you can’t send your retail heirlooms over to Diablo 3, you also can’t send them to Classic.

There are countless account bound items on retail. None of them are xferrable to classic. As others have pointed out… they’re effectively entirely different games

You wouldnt even want them anyways as heirlooms in retail are kinda crap tbh. Tuned to be lower than dungeon blues and give no EXP anymore.

You can’t for the same reason you can’t access your Diablo 2 stash in Diablo 3.

Yeah they trashed them entirely. Sure it’s a whole set now but it gives you very very little over dungeon gear or quest items after a certain point.

I think the only XP help it gives is a benefit to rested XP used or something?

No, you can’t. Closest thing to that is getting a 2h sword or 2 1h swords the fire weapon enchant 40fire damage ~5% proc chance. And mailing a non-boe item.

Yep. Uses less rested XP and some passive Regen stuff. Cool but meh.

You mean from retail to classic or wrath? No, nor should there be. These are separate games. It would not make sense to send mail between them.
