Heirloom Changes Discussion

Do you understand how many DAYS of played time I spent grinding to get all the heirlooms in earth and then a bit more grinding here and there when they added in some more over the years, REFUND ME MY DAMN MONEY BLIZZARD I GRINDED THAT FOR XP BOOST AND NOTHING ELSE either that or fix it and or send me a shiiiiiiiiload of gold because it’s only fair for you ruining a system you’ve had in place since 2012

You are not getting a refund. Especially since I bet you bought and upgraded all the non-XP heirlooms as well, destroying your entire premise.

I agree with all those who mention the gold, time and money it cost to obtain them, I also want my refund.

It’s a bummer honestly. The set bonuses are awful. The rested experience use reduction was such a boneheaded decision. You’d have to make a character then not touch them for months to get any real use out of it. It’s completely useless if you play the toon the same day you make it which is pretty much all the time.

Problem is that the uptime of the stat buff is abysmal(Seriously, after level 10 i rarely get to keep it up for a decent time before it expires). And the AOE proc would need to be a random proc instead of one per level thing, since the aoe is useless if you proc it while turn-ins, because WHAT ARE YOU FIGHTING ATM IF IT PROCS ON TURN INS!? Hell, in zones where quest npcs can be attacked or there are tons of neutral mobs close, it can completely backfire on you as you ding and then find yourself against +10 mobs with no fault on your own. Also, booty bay/gadgetzan. Do a turn in and hit opposite faction because of aoe, then watch as guards proceeds to wreck you while you are left wondering WTF IS HAPPENING¿?

I haven’t had it do this extent of tagging, but I have aggroed mobs while turning in quests somewhere. I think it was on Exile’s Reach, either a porcupine or goat near the cooking fire, or a boar over by the drone quest.

I still think it should give the buff a 5-10 minute timer, but only proc once you have gone back into combat. Then the 2 minute / 4 minute timer starts. It becomes a lot more strategic, since you get to decide when you are ready to use it.
