Is there anything this community won’t min/max the heck out of? Groups with portals up are being so incredibly picky about what they bring. Makes absolutely no sense. Why are people like this? Just auto invite and fill so more folks can get in on the event. The gatekeeping in this community is insane sometimes.

I think RP will probably escape min maxing. Everything else nope I seen it all from Dragonriding optimisation to OP pet battle tactics.

if you want to actually find the active portals, you 100% need a group. No one knows when these spawn yet or what the rotation is. this is silly.
i dont think people are being picky, its just that so many people sign up and they can only invite 39 others max.
They spawn at Valdrakken, SW, and Orgrimmar on the hour.
Main issue I’ve seen so far is the tremendous lag from the crowds. Hopefully that will settle down in a day or two.
that’s sorta my point though. just set it to auto accept and move on. so far all the groups are hand picking people from the list like this is some sort of cutting edge content.
Go create a group for the portals and show where the “auto-accept” is? There isn’t one on my end unless I’m creating a group for the World Boss.
You don’t need a group at all idk what you’re talking about… At the start of every hour go to SW, if it’s not up go to Valdrak if it’s not there hop on a horde toon… you got 5 mins that’s plenty of time to check all locations.
you can kill it multiple times since it doesn’t exactly spawn at the same time on each shard, for example i killed it about 4 times in the past half an hour just hopping from group to group.
IIRC only certain group types can have auto invite on, custom groups is not one of them.
Might need a group just to know where the hell the boss is.
first event for me, nothing dropped. Is that normal?
Park a toon at each portal spawn point, then pop on your different toons as needed. I was able to get a portal kill in SW and Org about 50 minutes ago.

No you don’t. I have a character parked at each location. I haven’t joined a group once. I got two kills in last hour without groups.
Also: no one is gatekeeping. There is no auto invite capability, so people just click invite if they’re paying attention. If they aren’t, because they’re busy killing it, then find another group or log into each area on your own.
