Hearthstone Added An Undead Paladin

It looks like a staff.

We can agree on the global macro scale and disagree about details.

I would ask only that you refrain from insults, I have hurled none against you.

Until it makes it way into the game, or at the very least, a badly written novel (those novels are so bad…), it’s not lore cannon. Devs say and change things all the time. If it didn’t ship, it doesn’t count.

I have done the Priest Order Hall campaign where Alonsus reveals himself. I have no recollection of him stating “it hurts”.

Why can’t you ever discuss things without getting mad at the people you discuss with ? Why is there something “wrong with me” just because I reply and quote your posts ?

Ever think the issue is not me ? I’m not the one getting mad here.

Literally never harassed you. Why would you defame me like that ?

It’s Hammer of the Naaru, but most of the headpiece is off-screen.

Is it? Weird. Doesn’t look like the base of it from that pic.

tilts head sideways

So Vulpera then?

Anyone ever have that moment where you suddenly acquire new information that makes you want to do an epic facepalm that could break worlds? Just me? Well anyway, thanks to Hernex for pointing out that LF kind of explode with Light energy I had an epiphany.

So, in short, Rhielle is right, in long and please note this is pure theorycrafting when a Lightforged dies they release all the Light Energy in their bodies making it an empty shell that necromantic magic could raise, and as for the Light Tattoos I imagine that they lose their power after the death of the Lightforged in question and afterwards are mere decoration.

Gilneans and Gnomes could be Paladins given both the relationship and bond they have with Stormwind.

aaaand i guess thats it for wow - any semblance of remaining lore and identity is done. Also this is such a cheap tactic - rather than create new meaningful lore or classes they just are reskinning an existing one which probably amounts to someone changing like one data-point;
// playable_classes [human, dwarf]
playable_classes [human, dwarf, undead]
NEW PATCH CONTENT!

Even the dragon seems decked with draenei paladin style armor. Lightforge undead probably. By making Calia Menthil what she is now they opened the door fully for undead paladins. When they will implement it though is a more difficult question to answer haha

/squints at the artwork

Sure, she has knees, but does she have lower legs/feet? Or are her stumps just grafted into the saddle?

Gnomes are too short and only believes in science. Not in any kind of faiths.

Gilneans who remained human can be considered a part of the human paladins already.

A Gilnean who became a Paladin and then got bitten presumably has his light abilities the way all other classes the Gilneans have were retained (mage, warlock etc).

A Gnome while versed in Science etc, already has professions that aren’t directly in that field (such as Warrior). It wouldn’t be a far stretch (pun intended) for then to learn the way it the light.

Wine aunts and gamer dads with their “more of everything more more more the more the merrier everyone is welcome” is one of the reasons this game has entered a death spiral.

Sometimes restrictions and limits give things meaning and value. They’re already clamoring for the silly owl NPCs in Shadowlands to be an allied race. Which classes? All classes! yay fun!

Very immature.

This is true buuut it would still be a very very small group of outcasts that other gnomes will prolly ostracize. Technically given time all race/class combo will be possible since all races can learn.

If hearthstone were reliable we would have had gnome paladins ages ago with chillblade champion and later Commander Rhyssa (You could argue Chillblade but commander Rhyssa is 100% a gnome paladin.)\

Note: I still think both Gnome and Undead Paladins are bad ideas, it’s just an example.

However the reason i said gnomes might never become paladin is how scientists generally tend to question faiths itself in pursuit of knowledge. Hence they have a saying “logic ends where religion begins” or something like this haha.

I mean we have void elves. Literally the outcasts from the outcasts that were decimated by the Scourge.

I do agree with you that I don’t think a gnome being a Paladin would be unlikely.

I did find the Hearthstone card made it look quite cool.

I can understand wanting to put restrictions and limitations for lore, but if a good argument can be made for a class/race combo other then it’d be cool then I’d be open to learn about it.

Plus armor she is wearing us paladin only boosted set, case close!

what a cruel necro. I was so excited thinking mortis was back
