Heart Shaped Box level requirement this year?

I need to know what the level requirement will be for the epic quality heart shaped loot box this year. If it requires anything above 50 I am going to be extremely disappointed as I have not had the time to level up more than a few characters to 60 since the expansion launched. It would not be fair to require more than 50 for those who try to farm holiday items with multiple characters every year. So what will the level requirement be this year for the epic quality version of this item?

Probable level cap like every year. Also the SFA here won’t have that information until official announcements are made. If you wish to offer feedback, you be better off posting in General Discussion, as the devs don’t come here (the CS forums) for player feedback.

I’m not so sure. Last year it was 110 or higher, BFA’s cap was 120.

Speculation on Reddit claims 55 or so, but Raven is correct that no one here would have that information in any official capacity. You’re better off tweeting @WarcraftDevs if you want a definitive answer, OP. Just bear in mind they are not obligated to respond.

Is there any word what level you'll need for the rocket?

Last year’s Love is in the Air event information from Wowhead indicated that the mount was available for characters 110+ (Legion maximum level). If it will work the same this year, then the mount would be available for characters level 50+ (BfA maximum level). The rare Christmas daily gift was only available for level 60s in December, so I’m assuming it will be 60 if that is the new trend, but we probably won’t know for sure until it starts.

Added: and yes, there were a lot of people upset about this since typically all level 50 characters would have been eligible.

Safe to assume level 60 so blizz can hit those time played metrics

If that were the case those players would already have leveled them to 60 for the “Winter Veil” event.

As noted in my other post in this thread, if “Love is in the Air” runs similar to previous years the event mount should be available to any character level 50+.

Time-played metrics wouldn’t be that much. If you follow Mesphisto’s guides you can level a character from 10-50 in about 5.5 hours and from 50-60 in less than 6. That’s not a lot of time towards time-played metrics.

I don’t put a lot of stock in the opinions of players who spend months on the forums bashing the game (and the company), but still seem to play it an awful lot.

Every other year, there’s new expansion with new level cap, and every other year there’s people complaining “not enough time” to level up all the alts to minimum required for the holiday quests.

This has been an ongoing “problem” for over a decade, how did OP expect this year to be any different? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s always been for characters with max level from the previous expansion so that is the difference, and also the reason for everyone’s initial confusion with the winter daily.
