Any hate speech has no place, anywhere. Not just online. As long as people don’t go that far, even if they are foul-mouthed, I don’t think anyone should be so offended. A lot of the people here wouldn’t survive a day in Ireland or Australia. When I traveled there, I heard people use the C and N words in a single sentence, more times than I had heard those words in my entire life. And it’s perfectly normal to them. Go figure.

I agree that people are too sensitive. However, there’s a line between speaking your opinion and manners. You address people with hostility, you give off a bad signal to everyone who witnesses that. Much of the world really is messed up, but there’s a good portion that’s pretty good, too.

Why should I watch the news? I know bad things happen but since I was not raised by a biker’s gang, I was taught the value of kindness and I know many people that also value it. There is nothing at all wrong with being compassionate and gentle. And lucky for me, my outlook on appropriate treatment of others is what is valued by Blizzard as well. I have no great love for the Azerite system and it doesn’t affect my gameplay much but I would be happy to see its removal. It was a good idea on paper that excited a lot of players but it just feels bad.

Its probably too late for this expansion but please Blizzard don’t carry it forward.

Ion already spoke at length about this in the last Q&A but we admit it doesn’t feel good. The lack of reduction really only negatively affects very high end players pushing for absurdly high Azerite levels, we’re talking 40-44 (looking at you Myppoo you insane person you). For anything under that the levels are still within reasonable amounts to gain another level, plus 37-38 is all that you need to get ring 3 on even Mythic Dazar’alor gear.

Lies. It was the only thing in the game someone could infinitely grind and be properly rewarded for. My neck level and the 2 item levels it gave was my only upgrade for WEEKS because of this personal loot casino your running wasn’t dropping anything and if it did it was duplicate. Even saved 5 bonus rolls for 385 content and got 5 Azerite bonuses, straight garbage.

There is hundreds of people 40+ and once again Blizzard actively halts their progression so the dude putting in 4 hours a week doesn’t feel inadequate. You even made everything give more Azerite to help them catch up in a system ALREADY built so no one falls behind. It’s why the system with weekly increased caps was setup, but once again the actual player base shocked you what was possible.

Stop your intentional gating. Tie neck level to the power of the azerite spells and get out of the way. Stop micromanaging fairness in a game with zero skill gap.

You don’t have another expansion to get this right, might be 100k or less playing in NA.

Here is the thing I don’t understand perhaps you could enlighten me though I Know your hands are tied on what you can reveal. Why is it that if a system isn’t working and you know it isn’t working is it allowed to continue?

They have constructed a narrative that is reinforced by all their observations. When players don’t like it, they can safely ignore their feedback, because those people are a bunch of soreheads who don’t understand their Grand Vision™. They only listen to each other and the voices in their heads telling them that BfA is exactly what players deserve.

And since they knew in advance from following this line of thought that the expansion was perfect and could not fail, they had no contingency plan. There is nothing to roll back.
