First of all, you’re a bunch of self-centered cursewords about loot.
Secondly, you have no respect for the game or for other players when you just recklessly chain-pull without checking healer mana. In case you hadn’t noticed, mobs hit like mack trucks in heroic AND WE’RE ALL UNDERGEARED.
As hpal I need to get my initial judgment off for casting speed. It’s a must. That’s an entire GCD which is a lot because once damage spikes start to happen I’m playing catch up. I’m forced to waste a cooldown. I need to be close up so I can swat mobs to gain Holy Power. If you pull 60 yards away while I’m still drinking I’m behind on Holy Power generation which means I have to lean on heavy mana usage.
BTW water costs a fortune. I need to get max value for my dollar but NO you have to plow forwards you selfish curseword.
Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?
And you dps. cursewords. Not using interrupts or stuns that I know you have.
It’s like playing with a bunch of lazy, self-centered infants. I genuinely hate you. You I mean YOU READING THIS RIGHT NOW.
Resto Druids are kings of heroics right now with the HoTs and AOE healing nonstop. Even then I’m wiping here and there because people think I can heal them through the mechanics.
Wait, you need to hardcast as hpal?
The only thing I’m actually casting is Exorcism. All day long.
Less in jest…judgement buff last a minute and does not have to be first global. Letting someone die right away is not worth the 0.2s better cast times later. Shock and WoG are quite good, especially when you proc Infusion and Daybreak.
Between Seal of Insight melee and Plea, what drinking?
Idk this post just gives the impression you aren’t using the full toolkit.
I’ve had tanks in full DPS gear telling me I’m a “typical ego healer” by pointing out that the run would likely go smoother if they put on their tank gear.
The DPS brain in RDF is particularly heinous at the moment for some reason.
Well I’m glad it’s not just a priest issue I guess.
Some heroics are much easier than others and require minimal drinking in comparison to the others, but in like Grim Batol, nobody tries to help you. You have to deal with everything annoying and then they want to walk to the next group when you’re hard OOM and drinking and you walk slow so I have to drink, then catch up then try to save you from yourself.
Nobody eats out of combat either, they wait for you to drink then top them off then pull when you’re no longer at full mana.
If we had actually gotten the original Cata heroics they would have lost 75% of their healers the first week.
The original Cata dungeons were designed intentionally so you had to use CC again on trash pulls until you out geared them. The mechanics a lot of people are sitting in would one shot them in the original versions. Instead they just almost die and we have to heal them through it.
playing as healer has shown me two things, 1. there are a lot of players who give 0 thought about mechanics and playing their class right and 2. 95% of tanks seem to have 0 chill and just want to blast through everything like we on easy mode with infinite resources but 0 time
You’re a shaman if you interupt it locks them out of that class of spell. If they cast a heal or a bigger damaging attack, you interrupted the wrong thing.
I’ve been tanking on my BDK and I am amazed at how much dmg is taken by mele dps. They stand in fire and zug lol…feel bad for healers…I move the mobs and they stand in more fire. like its a buff…Im like you know the left side is clear but you wanna stand in fire on the right side
you get 5 water for 96s, that’s not even 4g for a stack of water, and you get 51g from the tol barad dailies so thats over 900g. a single set of daily quests in tol barad gets you 230 stacks of water. tha’t 4600 water for doing a single set of daily quests you were already going to do anyways.
i heal heroics on my boomy geared resto druid just fine, just buy water and drink it to get your mana back
Typically I’m so oom at that point I can’t rez so I just start drinking. I have had dps rez for me. It was nice.
I’m just wondering if anyone else is seeing the extreme difference between a blood dk and a prot paladin? Every single prot pal needed me to hardcast spam heal them as they took so much damage. A DK in the same instance, I can just smite to heal. I know DKs are stronger, but the difference I’ve run across is extreme. Or is all the paladins I’ve run across just not using their CDs and is in ret gear? I didn’t have time to inspect lol.
I just came to these forums to make a similar post.
In my experience, PUG tanks are still in a zug-zug mindset when it comes to these new heroics, and very few of them pay attention to things like the healer’s mana or if group is ready.
These new heroics are not WOtLK gammas, you tanks need to chill and get back to basics.
Tho I do have to run back and restock more than I’d like. I might use 8-10 in a good run, or 20+ if I’m constantly having to pre-pull sip for that extra 5%. But the direct cost isn’t really an issue imo
