Heads up! Something went wrong error

I have been trying to resub to WoW, but I keep getting met with the ‘Heads Up! Something went wrong.’ error. I opened several tickets and received the same copy-paste CS answers. Initially I was able to get to the debit card details section, but still got the same error, now it seems I am getting the error message before I can even enter my debit card details.

The error happens when:

  • Adding a new payment method on the account menu
  • After confirming my billing address, and before being able to add my debit card details.

I have tried everything you can think of. I have tried (several times of each) using a different browser, using Windows and iOS battle net clients, incognito mode, a different network, cellular data, cleared cookies & cache, disabled firewall and anti-virus settings, disabled all browser addons, deleting and re-editing my billing address, deleting my payment methods. Every single attempt gives me the same error

It seems like no matter what I do or try, I keep getting the same error message that won’t let me enter my payment details. It is getting quite frustrating because I had no issues at all since I started subbing to WoW, I simply just want to extend my WoW subscription, but I guess Blizzard does not want my money. Anyone that can help would be greatly appreciated as I am considering not resubbing if I can’t get this fixed.

Try a different browser clearing ur cache and cookies.

I did that already, doesn’t seem to be working. Tried Firefox, Chrome, IE, all while clearing cache and cookies each time. Also tried incognito and didn’t work either.

Well, you do seem to have covered the most common points.

I don’t see a Billing profile setup. I do see a failure on the last attempted charge.

I also see where you’ve updated your contact info multiple times, but that really isn’t your Billing profile.

I don’t really have a good answer - beyond those observations.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I deleted my billing profiles (payment methods), I’m getting the error message when I make one. I tried editing my address in my contact info to see if it would fix it but it’s not working.

I woke up and decided to try again, still is not working.

Do you use a VPN? They have been known to cause issues with purchases.

Having the same issue i think. I get " 500: Internal Server Error"

Edit: Just tried to re-add my card and address details and getting server errors all over the place. Something is up on Blizzards, as it’s not allowing me to add new details.

Same issue, cant update billing information or purchase anything.
