Heads up, Hunters!

Speaking of hunter pets, are the Void Warp Stalkers that come wit Void Elf hunters still only available through character creation?

I race/faction changed my Belf Hunter to a Velf hunter at the tail end of Legion because of role play reasons, at missed out on having a Void Warp Stalker because of it.

Yep. I just checked today.

I was so happy to see Dread Ravens finally be a thing. Getting Rukhmar isn’t fun, so I went into Skyreach for what amounted to the same thing. I liked that boss anyway in WoD, so it worked out. It was a little buggy at first (seriously, the pet was massive) then it got hotfixed. Still needed to clear my caches to get him to function like an actual pet but I couldn’t be happier in the middle of this train wreck of a patch. Even got myself Ro’shak. May snag another but I have yet to decide which.

I got Corpse Eater yesterday. Now I just need more stable slots. I’m really getting tired of having to delete some to make room for new ones.

Yeah, I had to clear out a few pets from mine. I didn’t have much of an attachment to most of them but I still hated having to do it.

I have like 10 different Hunters for this problem. They’re great for mount farming too.

That sucks, I haven’t played the Velf Hunter for such a long time since I’ve been hoping that they’d eventually create a Void Warp-Stalker can can be tamed by everyone.

I mean, not even rerolling the hunter would be a viable solution since I like using the talent for having 2 pets out, and I like using two of the same pet.

So many good models finally released for taming. Couldn’t be more excited for the Dread Ravens!

Now if only the Kunchong were tamable…

I’m eager to leave work so I can get home and log into the game. I’ll be taming them either way. I’m curious if the bear is updated because Blizz stealth updated the bear mounts from there. The only bears using the old model, as far as I know, are special rares placed for hunters to tame. One of each coloration.

Yep, it is, just like the mounts.

There is at least one Void Stalker in the Stormwind horrific vision that swims in the canal, much like the Sewer Beast, but until that one comes back up we wont know if it’s tamable or not.

You’re welcome!

The bear does indeed use the newer model.

I was a bit afraid at first, thinking it was gonna use the older model. Thankfully though, it doesn’t. It matches perfectly with the mount!

Ugh, yes! They’re so cute.

Thanks! I appreciate the info.

Thank you for the screen shot! It matches nicely! I love being able to have a pet that matches my mount. Now we just need an white bear mount that uses the updated model.

/grumbles because he’s still at work but it’s his own fault

I wish they would make an account unlock system for hunter pets (like how the mount unlock system works).

I should be able to use my rare tames on new hunter characters I roll. It would also allow you to unlock the racial starting pets so if you did a race change you could acquire the starter pet.

Cool!

Now where are the new Warlock Minions?

Oh, yeah. I forgot. Blizzard hates Warlocks and we never get any new Minions.

Give them an undead pet option .

I tamed the Dread Raven, been wanting one of those since I saw them in Warlords of Draenor. The only part I dislike is if you choose the animal companion talent, if you use a second Dread Raven, it won’t walk or run with you, it’s in a constant flying and flapping its wings state. Probably not intended, but it’s very distracting and annoying.
