5 seconds will be annoying, BUT if you can move it to your action bar it’s not as bad, and if there are at least a couple small regular flying mounts I can pop on my action bar for quick hops, I’m not going to stress it. I love skyriding anyway, it’s just annoying if you have some quick hops or somewhere straight up you just want to get to right away.
Many players, including myself, do not use Skyriding for quests or professions like mining. It’s much easier to use standard in places like the Zaqali Caldera. I only use Dynamic for fast travel to a quest area, event, or racing. I can already tell this is going to taint Druid flightform for many players.

Is it still a 5-sec cast with toggling?
It’ll remain faster just to switch mounts (1.5 sec cast).
1.5 steps forward; 5 steps back.

Unfortunately, they may require people to either do a Pathfinder or get to max level to unlock regular flying like last time! I have problems with Dynamic flying as I am also disabled and lack the ability to finely control in Dynamic mode! It makes getting around over long distances great, but everything else is massively frustrating!

You can’t just switch mounts! Mounts that can only static fly are grounded when you are in Dynamic flight mode! That is the problem combined with the 5-second cast to switch makes it a real pain for people who like to use both and a real issue for folks like me who are disabled and really can’t use dynamic flight for fine control.

So you mention one of two areas where you get shot down when using Dragonriding but not static flight.
If you want to use an inferior flight system, then fine. But there’s a five second cast time to prevent degenerative gameplay of swapping all willy-nilly.
If only you had never existed…

I mean, youre gonna have to land anyway to swap mounts…THAT should be the time spent doing it.
Im sorry but of all the games ive ever played this company seems to be the only one Ive crossed that can take something good and make it worse lol

I think I’ve already decided that since they boosted the regular mounts to 420? (I think), I’m just going to stick with that once I unlock it. Combined with the turbo taxi service achieve buff, less of a reason for dragon riding.
It was fun while it lasted!

I was wondering if this would be a thing, which makes it pretty simple. Does it trigger the GCD?
but you still have to land and swap mounts lol…THAT is enough of a ‘delay’… we didnt need to have a 5 second casting time added on, lol

Yes, that is only a small part of the solution! it is still a 5-second cast to switch from one style to the other! Which in my opinion is ridiculous as it is a 1.5 cast on top of that to just use a mount. It looks like they are still going to require something to unlock regular flight like last time and for people like me who have a disability we are going to have to struggle AGAIN until it is unlocked!

Change the TBC Flying to have a limited duration and also a “stamina” bar that once exhausted you gotta dismount or you’ll be dismounted.
sometimes you have to choose to use the ignore in here.
