we need to make that ability that toggles between static flight and skyriding to be an INSTANT CAST.
the fact that it is a five second cast makes it way too burdensome to use on a regular basis.
here is an example - you are flying around on your skyriding mount, and realize you need to land on top of a small roof with very precise movementā¦ so you want to switch to static flyingā¦
so hereās what you do, dismount from your mount - press the toggle button - cast five seconds - now mount up on your mount again - and wait for that cast to finish.
please just make the toggle button an instant cast.
i understand mounts themselves having a cast time cuz that would be weird to balance in ranked arenas, battlegrounds, world pvp, etc.
but there is absolutely no reason why the toggle riding form button is a five second cast.

I switch back and forth sometimes many more times than that in a session of playing! You are only one person not everyone plays the same and certinely not as you ASSUME we should be playing! The key that you are missing is TIME, I spend more time plying are assuming that means that I donāt switch much if the other 5% of the time is Dynamic! So I spend a few minutes to dynamically fly to a point where I spend 30 minutes to an hour. In that time I will be static flying around the local area! So ya I spend very little time Dynamic flying, of the remaining time in game if I fly it is Static!

I am just going to state the obvious here, Warlords of Draenor was released Nov 13th, 2014. I really think its time to move on. It is now Jun 15th 2024. Honestly if I was still so upset at a game company for something they choose to do, way back 10 years ago in a game and holding onto that anger and mistrust for this long. I sure wouldnāt be dumping $15 per month and buying no matter at what level of cost a xpac every two years to just keep holding onto that same anger and mistrust that exact title of game. To just every single xpac to complain and keep bringing up just how much I am so upset about that choice from way back 10 years ago I am.

BlizZard refuses to move on that is the problem. That is not the playerās fault but BlizZard that started the war on flight.
But the reason why we prevail and keep prevailing is because we have momentum and the anti flight crowd no longer has momentum.
All that is left is patchfinder shenanigans that we must obliterate.
Say no to any compromise to patchfinder nonsense.

what I mean is Iāll use Soar for Dynamic Flight and all of my actual mounts for Static.

Flying is awesome, Dynamic or otherwise.
itās not. but it is an annoyance that has no actual reason to exist.
a 5 second cast to switch from one flight mode to the other serves no legitimate purpose.
itās just the devs being petty.

Iāve grown to love dynamic flight anyways so Iām glad my side didnāt win back then, sometimes I just fly to fly. Fun mang!
I love that there is a toggle between the flight modes. My only gripe is that it takes 5 seconds, but I love that it is there. It lets people pick which form of flight they like no matter their favourite mount, and that is great. 
The friction of the toggle taking five seconds is supposed to discourage people that like both flight forms.
BlizZard doesnāt like people having choices.

The only reason for unlimited flying to exist at this point is for people who have physical issues and canāt do the dynamic flying.
I feel sooooo bored and slow when I try to use my old mounts now.
Use one of the thousands that arenāt then? And then use one of them that are.
Taking away popular options from players that already exist is a recipe for disaster.

The fact that people was angry about have no flight at all prospect for a complete xpac back in WoD at launch which was not advertised. And the fact we have flight right now from the start are complete two different things altogether. One everything about flight no matter the style right now have been 100% open to the public about their intentions from the get go. So keeping referring to the no flight at all debacle of WoD is really stupid.
