true, but what you fail to accept is, the amount of players who want TBC and ONLY TBC and refuse to touch vanilla for even 1 more second, is vanishingly small 
That’s your opinion and you have no evidence. Why not just stop being a jerk that belittles other players’ preferred expansions? Not everyone wants to go back to the dawn of MMORPGs.

I think they have stated that yes, it will go to the Fresh PvE server (not PvP). The question is can you go to one of the other servers say Whitemane? Fortunately, this is something we can super easy confirm on day one, since in HC permanent death is but moments away, and the deaths will be rolling in day 1 even if the server is a wasteland with almost nobody on it.
I 100% agree with every word of this. I want TBC permanently.

Then why are you even on this post? If you don’t like tbc then don’t post here. You’re trying to get a rise out of people. These posts are feedback from players that wanted a tbc fresh not a oh let’s do classic all over again.
Classic era is only kept up right now by a niche fan base and the gdkp community. The only reason this will be popular is the illusion of fresh. Fresh help blizzards player metrics but screws the player base when the servers die for months between phases.
It is obvious you’re part of the loud minority which is fine do and think what you want, but coming on posts obviously aimed at feedback and community wants isn’t the place for someone to come to argue with everyone that wants something different than you.

It’s a shame we gotta wait a year to play TBC. And I won’t be subbing for vanilla. I would sub and stay subbed for TBC era.

This is insane! I want to play TBC and TBC only, I am sick of classic. We have been playing classic for years, I don’t want to play it for 1 more year just to play the content I want.
I will never play on a private server so I have to suffer says Blizzard

I dont see how we dont/havent had multiple “fresh” servers already. They should just be on a cycle. Just do it like tarkov and every other wipe based game
It wouldnt be so bad but its like they took 2 different feedbacks and mashed them together…
There was a set of players who wanted a fresh vanilla experience with normal phases.
There was also a set advocating for TBC.
This new “season of progression” is not it. Especially with them rushing into it like this and not allowing us to provide them much needed feedback (Sod 2.0). Also, them not confirming whether or not players can xfer (whether its paid or free) off of the new vanilla once TBC is scheduled to release.
I am not fond of the phase schedule but still wouldnt mind leveling with friends and enjoying classic vanilla wow again, but have no intentions of playing TBC and wouldnt want to lose my 60 char in raid gear… so like SOM we should be able to xfer it over.

Pro era tbc players really need to stop pretending like blizzard took something from you. If you actually represented a large enough playerbase to financially support your content, you’d have it. End of story.

we here LIKE playing vanilla. and LIKE phases. and LIKE taking our sweet time
I guarantee you that you will have the option of going to era or TBC (and a paid option for both), just like what happened in the first classic

Majority of people want to play on a progressing server. You can’t just drop tbc with all content open. You guys are crazy if you think they won’t drop TBC era when tbc ends
my ideal world scenario for this is pretty simple,
FRESH vanilla, ----> TBC prepatch, option to offramp characters to Vanilla era realms that already exist, ensuring those who only want to play it can continue, and feed into Whitemane/Mankrik cluster populations (not copy, only transfer)
TBC servers remain that way, become the new TBC era cluster equivelant
2-3 years from now: Second FRESH vanilla rotation
Fresh ----> TBC prepatch, Offramp to Vanilla again
TBC -----> Wrath prepatch, offramp to TBC as an option
Wrath then becomes it’s own era server at the end of the second FRESH run
after this, we get rotations every few years that go from Classic-TBC-Wrath and let you offload at whichever is your preference if you so desire, turning these 3 into a seasonal run on repeat for those who want to go play through their fav expacs every few years and continue feeding any who tag along into respective favorite expansion populations
