Can I add a Korean WoW subscription to my American Battle.net account? Or do I need to make an entirely new Battle.net account? I have all the things (Korean phone, registration number, etc) that most things require. Thanks!
I believe it’s fine to do so… I recall one of my friends used to do that.
You can also play on a US account in Korea. You may want to try a datacentre on the west coast of North America (if they still exist?) or Australia.
Yea my ping isn’t bad on the NA servers! But my Korean friends are playing on the Korean servers so I’m trying to play with them.
So, total shot in the dark here. In your account page, under Games & Subscriptions, you can create a new Starter Account and it will let you select a region. I only see “Asia” and am not sure if this is what you want. The account is free to make, but I haven’t tried it myself. You can then add game time to the account.
Just a heads up…
Battle.net account bound items like mounts, pets, heirlooms, etc., are not shared across regions even though a battle.net account can have WoW licenses for different regions.
With that in mind, the only real benefit of combining the accounts under the same region would be if you still used a physical authenticator for account verification, or uses sms protect with a US phone number.
Also to be able to chat with my friends on b . net
