You’re the one who has constantly made accusations while providing no relevant independent evidence from Blizzard directly to buttress any of your claims. The burden of proof is upon the accuser and categorically the Alliance players who have jumped on this bandwagon of self-pity provide no relevant evidence that the map is anything other than fine.
You complain about your loss rate and blame Blizzard, the map, or some mysterious ‘meta’. Yet when someone provides direct evidence of an Alliance youtuber giving solid strategy for possible victory, it becomes ‘whaddabout’ round and round again.
Through out al these threads i see a lot of whining, lots of evidence that Alliance can win in AV with solid strategies and lots of evidence of Alliance players simply refusing those strategies and having tantrums. And its no the first time.
The tools to fix the Alliance win problem exist right now in the game, you have to just use them. Alliance players are not using these tools by choice, and Blizzard doesn’t have to code out the self-defeating mentality of some Alliance players.
Quick version: the real problem is no one really cares including people talking about map imbalances - this isnt Vanilla, this isn’t Classic +, humans can be less than super cool and frequently are - Blizzard cant save you.
No he didn’t. You didn’t actually watch it did you?
He might as well have entitled his vid, “How to shuck corn in 5 seconds or less,” because this guy DID NOT provide a winning strat. He provided a strat that Alliance currently use in just about every AV.
The difference is, the majority of us continue to PvP while this guy afk’s out. Isn’t that what you Horde claim is a major factor in why we lose 99% of our matches?
I played alliance. We did not lose like this back in the day, and it is embarrassing to see other alliance blaming this pitiful rate on the same BG that I played. And we did not have discord back then as a crutch.
Once again, if even during AV weekend where the best of the best of the alliance would come back, and its still not remotely close to a 50% win rate, yet WSG and AB do have 50% winrates regardless.
It logically can only be do to the map. No amount of casuals (Which exist on horde as well) could possibly produce such a lopsided win rate. Its mathematically impossible.
There are more casuals than hardcore on both the alliance and the horde, therefore it cannot be used as an argument as to why the alliance loses. Especially on AV weekend where the hardcore are more inclined to come back
Its not being addressed because its not deserving of being addressed. First of all, many think they deserve a map change which means this is about entitlement - ‘look at how much Ive lost, Ive earned this’ -its perfectly verifiable as such because they think theyre entitled to an easier time in AV and more wins. Taking IBGY is hard, you wish it was less hard. The first thing entitlement does is it picks a justification for the entitlement so its not seen as blatant self interest it is at first glance. The horde have a nice choke and they know how to use it thus Im a victim of the map - absolve oneself from any responsibility>>> Bliiiizzzzzz halp meeeee Second, everything they typed is wrong. Third, there’s substantial contradictory evidence all over the place - every alliance win contradicts and refutes their stance.
I love how badly this kid is against a level playing field lol. If anyone even mentions making it balanced he posts hundreds of idiotic comments trying to ignore the obvious imbalances.
Willing to bet money he likes solo queing av for his ranking n doesn’t want to have to deal with premades in the other bgs like alliance has to.
This doesn’t refute anything I said. There was no measurement (that matters) for resurrecting at cave versus SF regarding retaking IBGY.
You don’t res at the front of the cave, but pretty far back and have to walk south west. So I still am not sure there is a significant difference between the two.
No one is debating we start farther up, giving alliance an immediate defender advantage.
HAHAHA! No one who’s able to think rationally actually believes this.
Do you think we wouldn’t be fighting at IBGY if YOUR cave were by your base and our’s was behind IWB? Do you think us having immediate reinforcements by rezzing RIGHT THERE at IBGY wouldn’t make a difference while you run the distance from FW? Do you think that Alliance reaching the south end of the FOS at the same time as Horde and having a PATH up to IBGY wouldn’t make a difference? Do you think Alliance reaching SF 20 seconds faster wouldn’t make a difference?
Imagine living in a reality where time, distance and math were irrelevant.
Hope for your sake you don’t drive a car, have a job you need to be on time for, fly a plane (that one is terrifying), or even cook.
To understand this, you have to understand how players approached AV at that TIME (definition: the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole).
Both teams zergged. That was the way it was played. When Horde began playing scorched earth as they are doing now, Blizzard made changes.
giving alliance an immediate defender… advantage? what? you start halfway up the map and you call that an alliance advantage… rofl… such skewed perspectives.
The cave rez for horde is by far the biggest issue. Change and we’ll see how the rest falls into line. Honestly the horde getting to mid first isn’t a huge issue since it’s just a 1 time thing.
The cave rez is a persistent issue the entire match.
No, it cannot “only be due to the map”. It doesn’t matter if the “best of the best” are coming back, because the ones who otherwise cause a negative force in the BG, the deadweight who cause 99% losses, are still there. Hell, even more deadweight may very well play on bg weekends due to the potential of being carried by the good players. And being dead weight in AV is a lot easier than in small scale BGs like the other 2.
You lot need to win the battle within your faction before you can hope to beat the horde in a long AV game. Instead on the forums, all that is seen is alliance following defeatist cheerleaders, people who you really should be shunning instead of carrying around on your shoulders.
