Have not received 12-month sub rewards despite having an active 12-month subscription

Hello—I have an active 12-month subscription with a future renewal date on my WoW account. However, I still have not received the 12-month subscription rewards as a gift. Multiple posts state that you should receive them “no later than October 31, 2024,” as a gift on the battle.net app, but I still do not have anything. Does anyone have this issue? Can a GM help me out? :smiling_face_with_tear:

Edit: I got a reply on my ticket, and the issue is that I replaced my expired card with the new one that came in the mail, and doing so automatically canceled the subscription. I just purchased a 12-month subscription in June to get the rewards for the full year, and the only solution is to pay $150 for ANOTHER year in order to reactivate it. Seems like a giant bait to ensure your payment method does not expire for the entire year you’re subbed or you lose out on all the rewards…

If you’re certain you have it set to recur, you’ll have to submit a ticket for one to take a look.

Purchase Failure under Payments is probably your best bet.

Yeah - I did and was told I cancelled my sub. The thing is I cancelled the sub on my second account (1-month recurring), but not my main account (12-month recurring). I assuming that bugged it out, but the main account’s sub is still active and I can see it in account management. I replied to the ticket stating the same, but still have not heard back, so I created this post.

You didn’t really lose any rewards, you still got the one in June that you paid for.
You just didn’t get early access to the new set of rewards.

Each year sub promo only counts for one set of mounts. When a new set gets released, users with reoccurring payment set up sort of get “early access” to them, otherwise they would have to wait until their sub renewed to receive them. Hope that makes it a little clearer.

Now it still feels bad to not get them especially when you were doing the right thing by updating the card. If it were me, I’d put in a suggestion in game (not really sure what forum it would fit in) about allowing us to update a card without automatically cancelling/removing the current subscription tier.

Sorry you got stuck in this situation.

Just for posterity, when changing card information, there is an option to remove the info, and an option to update the info. The removal option will cancel any subscriptions tied to it. Update will not.

The removal option has a warning about cancelled subscriptions:
