It takes a good chunk of work, but it’s fun. 
Yeah I love tanking mechanically, but I hate everything else about tanking in this game. I can no longer handle the stress of being the group leader. I just want to protect those around me.
Ah no dps could walk into a pack of mobs hit an aoe followed or preceeded by a minor defense. Truely the cross a tank carries is like no other.

Yeah, I have 2 tanks (warriors and druid) and I started questioning why after last night.
People pulling for me. Said people pulling to much and running to me expecting me to save them. The healers more concerned with DPS’ing than healing. The DPS unable to commit an extra 3 seconds to the dungeon to wait for me to round everything up for them. It was a laundry list.
And after going for an after dinner walk while listening to Spotify, and playing a few games in my St.Vincent in World of Warships, I understood why there is a tank shortage.
after getting a vote kick on my newbie fresh horde tank in ragefire chasm for taking a wrong turn (yes i havent played in 18+ years) ragefirm chasm is completely different… makes me never want to level a tank on horde side if its that bad at the very first dungeon
Ur playing dps wrong, u cant juat dps and chill. U need to be the second tank who runs aheaf of thw tank and pulls and then yells at the tank for not keeping aggro. 
I was in a heroic palace pug this weekend cause i raided on my mage and wanted a vault for this guy . We got to the 2nd boss and the other tank kept taunting early, so we would wipe , and somehow i got blamed for it . 
I’m 2517 io and was helping a friend do a 9 dawn breaker. We just killed the first boss and the priest raced to the church with the shaman dps, and the adds spawned on top of them and killed them. I they blamed me and said I should have been there. I was still landing at the church from the first boss fight. They proceeded to leave afterwards. Just my funny story of the day.
I mean if people flame you just pull a bunch of stuff and then leave the group to the guaranteed wipe and bricked key and go play your alt for 30m.
Just let them die if they do this. Actually its kind of fun in leveling dungeons and heroics to see if you can find creative ways to get annoying dps killed. It’s a side game as a tank.
Why no one wants to tank in WoW. Its be perfect or get kicked. People have no patience.
It takes a long long time for the adds to spawn, not sure how you still hadn’t landed, still their fault but you know you can go straight there once boss starts the channel I hope.

I think alliance can get horde dungeons in the que. ow while leveling just a heads up
Honestly I don’t think this is a role problem but more of a PUG problem.
You’ll never experience any of that with a friend group.
The best way to say ty to tanks is to learn the dungeons, maximize your dmg, kill the tank’s marked skull target, and have an interrupt tracker. That’s how you say ty to tanks =))))
Same, especially as bdk I love just being in battle protecting my allies.
But the whole, know everything about everything and compensate for every error and be super efficient and know the mechanics for all roles…is a bit much.
Hence I always try to do my first push tank runs with friends. After that for key farming it’s not as bad. I just hate the idea of watching a 10 minute tutorial video for a video game lol. No thanks.
This has been the single most patient season I have ever seen. I have yet to see someone leave this entire season because of 1 death or even 1 wipe. Even in 10s and 11s. I did an 11 SoB last night that was completed overtime when rewards stop at 10. Typically past rewards, people just leave because they just want score.
Even in lower keys, people stick around after boss wipes unless it becomes multiple wipes or other major issues.
